HP Pavilion wide-screen laptop here, bought in the US a couple months ago. Looks like this. Wanted a big screen as was "upgrading" from desktop, and I do play games and such on it, so it's not as portable as many laptops - quite hefty!
In the house we also have OH's similar slightly smaller lighter laptop, three desktops that don't really get used any more, and most evenings my work laptop which is what I'm on now (Lenovo ThinkPad T61).0 -

Maddy is 8wks and 11lb now, for the last few nights I've given her a dummy when she has woken and she has gone 7.5-8hrs. Her feed at 10.30pm is a bottle and she had 4.5oz last night.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

I am giving 2 bottles a day as I'm trying to slow my milk down a bit. Pumped some off the other day and when it was in the fridge a third of it turned to creme, it's a bit rich!Too many children, too little time!!!0

Elle - I meant to ask last night, If you were pregnant again wouldn't they look more closely at the placenta etc on scans so therefore you couldn't/shouldn't go into labour undiagnosed? if you had VP again
I had something else... must go look..
They did with me, slightly different in that it was an abruption not VP, but all the same, fortnightly scans. Doppler scans (show blood flow as red and blue) and can show areas of degradation on the placenta that indicate insufficient blood supply.
I went to matalan and got more decorations for DS1 party and a jumper/top for meWhat should I wear it with?? This one, but the belt is all brown. I really have no fashion sence at all, it's jeans and low cut tops for me usually! :rotfl:
And my electric pump arrived, the snow bear one. Not only did it have traces of someone elses milk in it, but it's really really crap and so uncomfortable!!I wan't to express more than 1oz!

Do you want my honest (long!) answer to this question? Not said in a rude tone of voice, a gentle happy one, just I've had these debates before and I need to check the person does want my view first, else I feel a bit disrespectful or pushing. (kinda like I don't want to be the homebirth equivalent of the jehovas witnesses you've felt were rude!)
Sorry been having a cuppa with a mummy friend so only just got back onI think so long as it's a healthy debate then share what you like
Same as I will give my views - and giving them on a forum is not the same as coming and knocking on my door - I can choose whether to answer or even read a post if I don't agree with it - I don't feel "invaded" by someone having a different oppinion, unless they come and try to force it on me in the sanctuary of my home

JVIC - Imogen didn't sleep through until around 16 weeks and she was on the 75th centile for weight (can't remember what that made her, she's 2.5 now). She's had a similar routine from 6 weeks old (although I don't think we read her a story at that stage - go you!)
Alex has two bottles a day (and 4 BF) and he takes 6ozs. He's 8 weeks now and was 10lb at 6wks. He feeds every four hours and shows no signs at all of sleeping through.
I'm a bit more relaxed about it this time, but remember waiting practically baited breath for Imogen to sleep through when all the babies were. Some of my friends' babies slept through at 6 weeks, others not til 6 months so what you're saying sounds perfectly normal.
Been to boobie group this morning (tea or coffee but no biccies or fruit ) and seen the BF expert to make sure I've got no positioning or attachment probs. Am convinced I still have thrush (shooting pains after a feed, occasional itching, no colour around my nipples, white on his tongue) but am sure the doc will try to tell me otherwise. Last time he said the pains were just one of those things when BF and to take paracetamol! Have a leaflet to take just in case I need to, but have plenty of symptoms. Just because I don't have anything on the outside of my nipples doesn't mean i don't have it.
My BF counsellor went through a checklist and it could be that I still had the thrush in my milk ducts from when I was feeding Imogen  Basically it has sat dormant for more than 2 years until i started feeding again and that's why we've got it so early (Alex was 3 weeks when I noticed the signs). I didn't know this could happen, so worth any other 2nd /3rd etc time mums knowing.MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090
