If you felt it was ok and wouldn't need anything more than G&A you could just refuse to leave the house and they'd send a MW out
Thanks for that. My contractions were a couple of minutes apart and his foot was making its way out before they believed I was in labour last time without so much as paracetamol so i'm sure i could do without and epidural/pethadine or anything.

Got a suprise package yesterday, Im not sure where from though it may be Tomy, failing that Bizzie Baby. Its a Tomy Winnie the Pooh Grow with me baby gym! Lexi loves it! :)

Right off to so some 'stuff' before madam wakes up.

Its nice to be back have missed all you guys and Gals!

Sparkle, that's the one I got! Did you get any paperwork or an email? All I got was the dispatch notice saying 'sample'.

Interesting debate on home births. I'd love one, but I'm too much of a chicken, scared off what could go wrong. My daughter's birth was quick and without complications (except meconium which put me on a monitor) but I'd rather be near the drugs and as many trained people as possible, just in case!

I suppose if they hadn't then I might be feeling stronger about not having another child there - but I'd still want it in a hospital or MW led unit... being at home to deliver to me (and I appreciate this is my personal view here!) is unhygenic, dangerous and unnecessary... We have all these highly trained medical people - why would you NOT want to be where they are in case anything went wrong???
My issue isn't with being in hospital as such but they won't allow me to have him on the midwifry led unit. i was told next time it would have to be consultant led again and i really don't want to end up there.

Yep, OH gets a good wage, but after bills and utilitys thats a huge chunk gone, then the food bill another big chunk gone, then there is the cats, they are not happy with biscuits, so I have to buy wet meat which is pricey, that reminds me I need to pay for the kitten to get done next month too!

My smoking = ££££, diet coke everyday = ££££, OH never making his sandwichs the night before = ££££ at the sandwich lady at work.

We are useless! We'd have plenty spare if I quit my bad habits, I'm just so scared that If I stop smoking I'll gain weight, I still need to loose 2stone! I don't want to get beefier again.

    BAH!

Keira always gets plenty though, anything spare goes on her really, I must take her to Clarks soon to get some boots for winter, and she needs nice shoes too, she has cute trainers right now, but not really ideal to wear with a party dress for Xmas time! She also needs new jeans but I keep putting that off because I can never find any that fit her right, she needs age 2-3 for the waist, but needs 3-4 for length! I bought her 3-4 shorts and they fall straight back down haha
  • Right I have the main rooms of the house tidyed as Jasmine has one of her friends coming home with her after school and she is staying for dinner !! God help me :)

It's from BB I've just checked the newsletter :)

Edgar passed mec and had the cord round his neck, but there was no signs of distress so it was fine:) I remember whimpering "Do we have to go hospital?" when she said he'd pooped but she said no as long as he's out soon :D

  • buttons, Jas is the same, she is soo skinny !! She is a 4-5 in the waist and 7-8 in length !!
We end up buying the trousers with the elasticated pull in waists in 7-8 so she doesnt look like a gypsy :)

Well I do have some of those elasticated pull in waist trousers from Tesco for her, they are age 2-3, they fit her okay, except that we STILL have to keep the elastic tied in, and it STILL looks like she has a big fat bum, as it bunches all around there. Child needs to put on some weight! Don't care what the HV's say, there is NO way she is above average on weight, she turns sideways and she dissapears. The only fat bits are her cheeks, both sets :p

idea do half and half little cheaper and the wet hides the biscuits

My smoking = ££££, diet coke everyday = ££££, OH never making his sandwichs the night before = ££££ at the sandwich lady at work.

you make the sandwhichs thn hes got no answer for it :D i was the same with coke zero now i only treat myself to a bottle at the weekend and have fizzy water throughout the week ... and smoking im a social smoker only tend to have the odd one if im drinking i used to be on 5-7 a day and it was just costing too much as you know yourself

We are useless! We'd have plenty spare if I quit my bad habits, I'm just so scared that If I stop smoking I'll gain weight, I still need to loose 2stone! I don't want to get beefier again.

    BAH!

im not gonna lie when i quit (ish) i put on alittle but only a few lbs if that

im sure keira gets plenty and if your like me thats where my main money goes ... cant help it ... i also have a huge overdraft that swallows my wage so every pay im technically using my overdraft to pay my bills .. im the only breadwinner in this family and my money isnt great so we struggle but we get by ..... as soon as im debt free im taking my mini family out for a meal at where ever they want to go :D x
