Morning, taken a few minutes to catch up with last nights chats...Dont know whether its significant but OH went on his course yesterday morning and LO slept all through last night from 9pm - 6.20am when I woke him up !!!!
I had to phone CTC people yesterday and tell them that OH has started work again and then realised that they have been paying us on the wrong childcare amount since October last year and it works out about £50 a month . I really must keep on top of this.
I have money stashed everywhere at the moment in little pots for Xmas, Car, holiday fund etc taht way things arent a surprise for us......Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -

being at home to deliver to me (and I appreciate this is my personal view here!) is unhygenic, dangerous and unnecessary... We have all these highly trained medical people - why would you NOT want to be where they are in case anything went wrong???
Do you want my honest (long!) answer to this question? Not said in a rude tone of voice, a gentle happy one, just I've had these debates before and I need to check the person does want my view first, else I feel a bit disrespectful or pushing. (kinda like I don't want to be the homebirth equivalent of the jehovas witnesses you've felt were rude!)

I feel a bit dim nowGot worried that 3 thought I'd forgotten her!
I do worry who I have forgotten
I'm alright today. OH's first day at new job yesterday and he seems a little happier, which is good. I'm off for coffee and clinic today, and post letter to Doctor. Need to phone Childminder, she wondered if we could make it tomorrow instead of thursday. Nervous!
I expressed 5oz out of one boob, and 1oz out of the other today! Will want to send about 3oz with LO to childminder, so I'll pump lots while I can. Always think I'm going to lose the ability to pump!
Still feel a little sad, tired and worn out. Really need to go and visit my Mum and have a break.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Whats new here? Well Lexi Lou is crawling backwards, has been for about four days but we cannot tempt her forwards for anything LoL. She can also sit unaided for a fair amount of time now. Im so proud.
Got a suprise package yesterday, Im not sure where from though it may be Tomy, failing that Bizzie Baby. Its a Tomy Winnie the Pooh Grow with me baby gym! Lexi loves it!
Right off to so some 'stuff' before madam wakes up.

Today every single one of us has woken up with a cough and im loosing my voice? have HV coming out and then have to go to work this aft to help them out? would rather have the day off but its a nightmare as all the staff are back at college?
as for the HB i had a great experience and as i didnt have a very good time at the hosp with any of my births i feel it was the right move for me. the maternity hospitals are so full and it was a fight to get the MW to believe i was in labour and within 15mins i was pushing! my aunty lost her baby due to hospital being so understaffed and my SIL had a very seriously ill, mentally and physically disabled baby which should have been picked up in the blood tests and scans that were carried out!
I was refused a HB when i was pregnant with charlie as they said there was not enough equiptment or staff, this is the only way they can get out of it and they dont have to prove it. i however knew the equiptment was stored in the same area my mum worked and checked only to find 3 lots sitting there! they couldnt argue and then used the understaffed excuse?
suppose i better get dressed am sitting here coughing away and not wanting to move! What's for you won't go past you0 -
A bit more about home births - the staff were as great as they could be during the delivery, but I just don't particularly like hospitals, and would rather be somewhere that I feel comfortable and relaxed in. I think because of my history, being somewhere private and where I'm in 'control' is important too.
I didn't bleed at all during delivery (thing it said 'minimal' in the notes), so it wouldn't be that unhygienic.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
