Oh on the subject of creams - we don't use any - I put powder on her butt every time whilst we're home tho. So far no red botties here
dang my daughter has a good set of lungs on her  not crying - just SHOUTINGDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
Warning, mega post alert. Sorry to anyone I've missed out.
Glam - Ca't help with the expressing, I manually expressed till my milk came in. Would that be an option? It is sometimes easier to do that to collect small amounts. Glad you are both home. Toby had really bad jaundice and we had to go down he cup route, Very messy and we soon switched to a bottle! I always used cotton wool or wipes, even for a wet nappy. Bottles, I took out of the steriliser, then screwed together, and then used later when needed.
Scruffy - thanks for hugs yesterday, I hope you are alright? What is going on in your world?
Sugar - yay for curly hair! Toby had a baldy bit at the front for ages! Well done on weight gain and so glad nappy is okay. Its good you have a helpful doctor.
Maz - love the new avatar! Make sure you remember how to do it, we'll want it to be of him and the baby in december!
Elle - did you manage to get off the sofa, or are you havung a wellk earnt rest? I'm all excited for Rhys,he'll definitely break the 7lb mark next weigh in. Are your new horns too big or too small? My all in one ones are smaller in cone bit than the multipart ones, but the tube is the same, so they are both comfy. Is it something like that? I've hear you can use a little olive oil on them to make it more comfy, so could check with a nurse or someone if that would be okay for Rhys?
Searching, have a nice lunch with your mate. Hope Zoe has a good day today.
MM - glad the sleep is better! Hope you get some things done today. I've got a huge pile of boxes to deal ith, but I don't want to!
Buttons - hope you managed to go to the toilet! Hope you get the sleep thing sorted out soon. I agree though, kids are much nicer than snoring blokes to cuddle with! Are you thinking about booking a smear? I will if you will. Are you going to get your hands checked out? Hope everything is okay xx
Tigsteroonie - is it consultant today? Everything crossed for you.
Bruno - thanks for the links. Hope there is no sleep fighting today. Can't remember if I suggested it before, but would OH write to the GP or HV instead of seeing them? A bit more control for her, but hopefully she'll have some contact with someone who could help? Sorry about Mum problems. My OH doesn't like my Mum, and it does make things harder. Hope the short visits help.
Krystal - Happy first day back Aimee. Hope you can borrow the babygym for a bit longer. Toby has a new blow up ring and some new Toys from Nanna and Great-Granny so he is pleased!
Ladybird - hope the session went well today, looking forward to hearing all about it,
Becles - fingers crossed for a grown up living room! When pregnnt I said that I wouldn't let baby stuff take over. That didn't work out! Hope the school dinner is nice and that first day back goes well.
MFD - don't go, I'll miss you
Tine - soory about medication chat, I forgot. Hope sleep sorts out soon, Is the wind just from formula and not EBM? It isn't a bottle thing?
AF - hope you find something nice and smelly for LO. Toby always has a muslin in with him, a nice warm one as I usually end up sat on it for most of the day! Sending you lots o ((hugs)) because you are so lovely
Tia do I remember rightly that Amber isn't Amber coloured now?? Thats great! Hope you are both getting on okay
Sami - how you feeling today?
Caz - hope early start wasn't too bad and that you have a good day. You seem ver busy, are you get time for you?
Weezl - You keep popping up with lots of wisdom, make sure you tell us about you and Fergie too. Have yo made a GP appointment for him?
Redmel - loved reading about your boys yesterday, really made me go 'aaah'. Haven't you done a wonderful job with the,!

That's handy cos the returns policy will have run out by now
Right must get dressed, do I risk walking to the PO and to get a spot of lunch? its quite sunny here now but you know what the UK is like - could pish it down at any moment!0 -
Wipes here and no creams. Toby doesn't seem to get irritated by anything. He also doesn't tell me that he needs changing, I just have to keep an eye on him. He'd happily sit there all day if I let him!
I've just signed up for baby swimming lessons! There is a bit of a wait, but I'm on the list!
Mums of older kids, when do they start noticing your body? When will I get the akward 'what is that Mummy' questions? Don't want to cover up completely and make LO thing bodies are something to be ashamed of and hide, but don't really want questions about various scars?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Goodness me feelie - hope you're having a lie down after all that!Think you might have volunteered yourself to do the catch up for MFD when she's back!

Yup, I'm off the sofa and even dressedHave cleared the hallway so Dad can paint the skirting boards, played with Rhys, just feeding him now then I'll make some lunch for me and Dad. Comm Nurse coming at half four so need to restore a bit of order by then!
How's the letter going?0 -
Glam, I was only getting a few ml when I started expressing, and that was using the hospital machines! I've got an Avent handpump at home now (waiting for my elec pump), and I've found that the first 5ml ends up sucked backwards to form a seal between the stupid "soft breastshield" horn and the actual horn. I've now ditched the soft bit. And I'm up to 60ml a session - good job Andrew doesn't need much yet!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

WOW feelie what a post :T and congrats on sorting the childminder and swimming lessons0

Feely - she only does her "I'm in pain scream" when she's had "normal" formula - she's fine when she's had the easy digest stuff
Boob juice is fine too - her night/morning feeds are still boob juice and at least one day feed is boobjuice too. It's only if I try her on the normal infant formula she ends up screaming the house down - and it's that horrible "I'm in pain mummy" scream! Not nice! On the easy digest stuff she just farts like a trooper :rotfl:

Letter is all ready to go, just need to print. Have asked for the referal to go ahead straight away and for a letter about medication to be sent to my GP o I can start now. Then will see Pyschiatrist when it is all a bit sorted, she wasn't keen on me taking LO there.
Are you keeping notes for MFD? I love your summing up posts, so clear and to the point.Tigsteroonie wrote: »Glam, I was only getting a few ml when I started expressing, and that was using the hospital machines! I always lost milk behind the cushion with my avent one, even when leaning forward. Are you hiring an electric?
