The 12th call was the lucky one! She can do a few hours once a week, off to meet her on Thursday night. She sounds lovely and is within walking distance. Now to compose a list of questions and work out how to get Toby fed if I decide she is good enough to look after him.

  • buttons, she is sleeping much better, we still have the odd night where she refuses, but generally she is now asleep for 9.30 which is a whole hour and a half earlier than she used to be !! I dont know what to do with myself at night now I am not constantly going up and down the stairs :)

Sorry to jump in with a question, I'll go and read back shortly. How do I find a childminder? I'm sure I recall some links.

    ... my baby's head was 35cm circumference! So there's hope :)

I think Rhys is about the same size how as Fergie was at birth :D He had a head circumference of 33.8cm two weeks ago (when last measured) and was 6lb 15.5oz last week so could be around the 7lb 4oz mark now :)

I seem to have run out of steam already.. :( Had a busy hour of clothes folding, sorting and box labelling, stopped to feed Rhys when he woke up and never got going again.. Got that really heavy, would require a lot of effort to heave myself off the sofa thing going on :o

Doesn't feel like it. Got to do something though, can't carry on like this. Hopefully if I can get a childminder sorted, then I can try and get therapy scheduled around that. I might have to wait a while to get the right time appointment, but in the meantime I'll learn to drive. Wish I had friends or family who could help out, I don't like the thought of leaving him with someone who I don't know enough about. I think I'll be paying for three hours, but hopefully will only need 90 minutes or so. I'd much rather just take him with me. Now, to draft a letter to the Pyschiatrist, asking for the referal and details of when appointments would be so I can try and schedule it all okay.

    Sending you some energy dust!
