No bad mummies here MM - don't beat yourself up.

I'm not asking for medical advice, and we're taking the monster to the doctor in the morning, but we just found some blood in her nappy. Has that happened to anyone else's little one? She doesn't seem constipated... ?

(I might have to rush off because there are ominous rumblings from the crib so thank you in advance and I'll update in the morning).

Nope, nothing special.. Well, I got an email from the restaurant with a special offer (buy one main meal, get another for £1) plus it's their regular steak night too so we could have an MSE night either way :) We're going here - it's tiny inside. OH and I don't have an official anniversary or anything..

I remember around the time of baby P, Keira had came home from a weekend away at OHs parents with OH (to give me a weekend of peace!) and she came charging into the house, tripped and knocked her head straight off the side of the dining chair. The bruise on her forehead was MASSIVE, I was getting funny looks when we were in Matalan, they probably thought I had punched her in the head!

Something similar happened to Joshua when he was a toddler. He was chasing the dog and pretending to be a scary monster with his hands above his head like claws. They went hurtling out the back door, but he tripped over the ledge. He didn't put his hands down, so his face smacked off the paving stones.

His face was all black and blue with a big egg on his forehead and some grazes, and he looked a right mess. I hated taking him out and I got awful stares off people :o
Here I go again on my own....

Ouch that sounds painful Beccles! Bet he was howling, I hate that noise when kids have hurt themselves and they proper SCREAM! I also don't like when I heard kids coughing, makes me think they are choking!!

It is awful when people stare like that, I kept thinking someone was gonna phone SS because of it! I'm going to be even more paranoid now she's at nursery, if the kid goes in with weird marks or unusual places bruises they just phone SS, and they don't tell you, I think I'd DIE if that happened.

Keira would be like - Yes my mummy jammed my finger and I got blood "Did she do it on purpose?" "errrrm yes?" "Is your mummy mean?" "Yes she's a big fat cheesy pie mummy pig" Thats how I imagine a convo would go, lmao.

    hi all,

typed a long post with comments (forgot to copy it) and i lost it, so NOT happy.

i am having the same trouble as caz (as you all know) with LO waking loads during the night. at just over 5months is it too late to put something of mine in her crib??? i have ever done this as i was worried about things in her crib, but as she is now bigger and can move things out of her way i am not as worried. what could i use??? a friend of mine said she used her breastpads, but as i am not longer feeding her (expressing) that is something i can't do. her crib is right next to me and my bed so i am very close.

looks like i am going to have to email cow and gate to see if they supply their milk back home. my mum says she can't find it. i will speak to the HV tomorrow about other suggestions.
