Mrs T, even at a salmon side, I wouldnt know where to start !! But then I don't cook, thats all Chris in this house :)

It's easy though :) take a huge onion, laurel leaf and some pepper corns. Throw in a large oven tray with a large glass of wine and pint of fish or vegetable stock.
Bring to a simmer and leave for 10-15 mins. Throw in half a salmon side and leave for about 10 minutes covered over with a piece of tin foil :) Bobs your uncle! :D

Elle - I suppose in her defense, I believe she stated she just started in February (although she's easily in her 30's so I don't believe it's her first HV position, just new in this area), so she may be just being cautious. But there's such a thing as badgering the poor mum to death - and she is definitely guilty of that!

She could be a new HV :) A friend of mine is training to be a MW at the moment and she's early thirties :) She wanted a career now the kids are old enough to go to school and so on...

Tine, if it's not in the washing basket then don't wash it :p

Tempting... Veeeeeery tempting... problem is it makes it's way there in one huge mountain! Well... it made it's way to the top of the stairs in a huge mountain... and I had to move it then because the delivery dudes were delivering my new sofa bed :D So now it's doing it's mountain range impression on my tiny kitchen floor

I refrained (barely) from pointing out that prior to her arrival, I'd already made breakfast, fed & dressed both boys, washed & sterilised & mixed up bottles for the day, done the washing up, and put on a load of laundry. Hardly "not coping" with everything. Good grief.

Wow triggles you did amazing well to keep calm and you've done way more than I have managed to today. I only have one but I didn't drag myself out of bed till 11 (I was awake earlier but as DS was still asleep I didn't get up) managed to get DS fed and changed, I'm dressed and I had a slice of toast and a cuppa and I'm pooped :o

NMS - it's just my routine, really. If I don't get as much done as possible in the morning, I don't get anything done LOL ! And Connor (1mo old) has a feed about 5am, and Liam (3yo) gets up about 5:30am, so that's me pretty much up and running for the day. Plus if I get more done right away in the morning, that gives me more time to do some craft/art stuff with Liam or go for walks in the afternoon with the boys. DH takes over from 6pm until 10pm so I can get a nap in on any day I need it - sometimes I take one, sometimes I don't, depending on how I'm feeling.

Well to add to the confusion over how "old" Rhys actually is, Boots seems to have him down as a month old?!

I got the same e-mail from Boots this am and Alex is 8 weeks on Monday. Still younger than Rhys though :rotfl:

Go Triggles! [If there was an American 'whoop whoop' icon thingy I'd add it here. You know, the funny circular arms thing they do?!]

Ok, the pom poms are alright, but no short cheerleader skirts - I may be back in my prepregancy jeans, but I am soooooo not ready for short skirts!! LOL
