Glad you got sorted out Triggles.

I saw my HV when Charlotte was about 9 months old. She was still laying flat on her back and making no effort to sit up or crawl. HV said it was a bit of a concern and if she didn't start moving soon, she'd have to be referred to the hospital. I'm still waiting to hear back from her, so she can't have been that concerned :D
Here I go again on my own....
  • I have a lovely HV too, she has offered to give me a couple of free private baby massage sessions for Dyaln :) (she is trained in it, and if I went to the local class, it would be her taking it anyway!)
She is coming round a day next week to start :)

Mrs T, even at a salmon side, I wouldnt know where to start !! But then I don't cook, thats all Chris in this house :)

Steady Triggles.. airholes seem a bit extreme ;) Maybe she's not asked enough in the past and had her wrists slapped for not noticing someone suffering so she's going for overkill now

Right... if my munchkin will chill in her swing for 5 mins I might be able to go and put the beetroot on to boil... I've dug up 2 large ones so I can pure a load and freeze it in the size batches needed for the beetroot chocolate cake LOL
Lazy or what ;) Seriously though - it's the worlds easiest cake ever once you have the pure'd beetroot :)

Then I have a mountain of hubby's washing to get through - thought I'd got to the bottom of the pile but nooooo he had LOADS on his side of the bed where I rarely venture... typical! *grump* we're talking at least 3 loads here! grrrr

Maybe I'll make him lunch... maybe not... haven't decided yet :)

Tine, if it's not in the washing basket then don't wash it :p I need to do some ironing but Caitlyn has decided to condense her 4 hour nap into 45mins... Might try her again in an hour...

And Aimee keeps singing about crabby pattys at the top of her voice!

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Well the bouncer is up.. looks lurvely :) Rhys in it now.. seems happy enough. Whoever it was who told me to get this type of frame (mel or caz?) was definitely right :D

Can't find the right screwdriver to get the battery compartment open so OH can sort that when he gets home. He txt me a while ago to say he would be late.. hope that doesn't mean anything bad :(

Elle - I suppose in her defense, I believe she stated she just started in February (although she's easily in her 30's so I don't believe it's her first HV position, just new in this area), so she may be just being cautious. But there's such a thing as badgering the poor mum to death - and she is definitely guilty of that!

I've met three of our HVs.. Don't know about one of them, but the other two (inc the one who is specifically ours) were nurses and midwives before becoming HVs and only went into it when they were in their 30's cos it fitted better with their own families rather than nursing shifts :)

Well to add to the confusion over how "old" Rhys actually is, Boots seems to have him down as a month old?!
