I've been dropped from the Royal Mail postal survey. Apparently they have been "reviewing their coverage".

Presumably it depends on local policy.
Interesting how things vary. Was amazed at the different care people got in pregnancy too.
I'm supposed to be ironing, but all I can do is sit here crying while holding my sleeping babyStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Aw feelie - why are you crying?
Please have a big hug from me and Liam!! x0 -
sugarspun, that weezl is me but pre-baby, I've upped my budget a bit since fergus
Good job you didn't say anything else- I've been chatting on other boards and people have said, 'there's a weirdo on old style who blags food and ate a pigs head' little knowing I was listening ROTFL!
I think it's awesome! I don't have the discipline, and we have no way of growing anything more ambitious than herbs on the windowsill, but I really do think it's cool to be that money and eco conscious.
The pig's head would be a bit far for me, but Husband loves eating brain (when a local Bavarian restaurant has them we have to go eat there, he isn't a zombie ... that I know of, although new fatherhood's hard to distinguish). My grandmother used to get loads of offal from the butcher and make stuff out of it, but now it's fashionable and actually costs money  I remember being a kid and seeing tripe in the oven, it looked like a small sheep with the fleece on and I was devastated.Hmmmm I'm 99.9% sure they have never done that one with me... all I've gotten is "do you feel ok?" - to which most of the time I've said "I'm knackered, sleep deprived and I feel like my house is a tip - otherwise I'm just dandy!"...
Thus showing that you have great insight into your state of well being and thereby are not suffering from PND.ladybirdintheuk wrote: »Oh - MSE topic allert - you would have all laughed at me in tesco. I got my phone out to use the calculator funcction and work out which was the best deal on nappies. Turns out it was Mr T super fit 88 pack, 2 for £20 I think. huggies were on offer, 2 smaller packs for £16, but it worked out as about 5p more per nappy than the tesco ones because of the size of the pack. (Pampers were on offer too, but we're not a pampers family;) ). That'll keep us going for a little while anyway.
We're using Aldi's own brand. They're 14.5 cents each, where the Huggies we got on special offer were about 30c and although they fit better (the Aldi ones need some origami around the top) they brought the monsters little bum out in a rash. I felt so guilty when I opened her nappy to see her raging red bottom - it looked so sore and she wailed like a flock of banshees when I put cream on it.
Husband went out just before I managed to get the baby down into her crib. I've done the dishes, put away the baby's laundry, put away the grownups' laundry, expressed 70mls of milk (that doesn't seem like much, but it all adds to the freezer stash) and bought some stuff online. I'm now sitting here with a cup of tea feeling incredibly pleased with myself. Once the monster's awake again and Husband's back I'm going to get him to vacuum the dust bunnies about the place and no doubt there's another householdy task I can guilt him into.
Incidentally, if anyone's interested in 10% off at iwantoneofthose.com I have a code valid till midnight that I'm about to check the codes board for and possibly post but if anyone wants it I'm at my PM box

Just finding the black thoughts hard to deal with at the moment.
Something I don't know if anyone knows. If I manage to get onto the waiting list for Therapy, is there anything I can do with LO? I can't take him with me, so is it a case of waiting till he starts school before I can go to appointments?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
