Well come and talk to us to keep your mind off things.
Can you really not take LO with you - surely it's better to got to the sessions, even with the slight distraction of LO than to not go at all. Can you check with whoever runs the session if this would be ok beforehand?0 -
Feelie ((((((Hugs)))))) Is there not a creche or something you could leave him at or could you not a plan an appointment when he usually has a nap. Get to your app early and go for walk (I know you might struggle with that) so Toby maybe falls asleep and even if you only got half and hour peace at your session it might be worth it.Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070

Something I don't know if anyone knows. If I manage to get onto the waiting list for Therapy, is there anything I can do with LO? I can't take him with me, so is it a case of waiting till he starts school before I can go to appointments?
Feely, I don't know the answer, but given almost the whole point of the therapy is to help mums feel better, if they don't have some sort of creche or child-minding facility they are absolutely idiotic.
Ask them directly what they can do to help with that issue, I would say give them a call today to raise the question so that it's one resolved thing you don't have to worry about, if possible. They should try to find a way to help, I can't believe they'll say "Sorry, but if you are looking after a baby we can't help you".

Woohoo Keira walked home very nicely from Nursery today. No tantrums at all
Also went in by the Tesco metro thingy, they have shoulder of lambs reduced from £5 a kg to £2.50, but the two I picked up had been reduced to £1.50. 2kg of lamb for £3, and 10 beefburgers for 90p down from £4. BRILL!
We don't eat burgers all that often, so those 10 burgers will last a while, makes a nice change to have a "junk" night, and there is always leftover chilli kicking around this house, so chilli burgers!
Keira still has that mouldy plaster on her finger from the jamming in door incident but last night she cut her finger on my diet coke can, so now has two plasters on one finger. She is walking around with her hand like a claw! OH also managed to smash a glass and insisted he had picked up all the bits, only for me to step foot in the kitchen and get a huge chunk of it impaled in my heel.

Sorry to crash in cos I have just been lurking for the past couple of weeks
feelinggood - Can I just say I had to take ds1 along with me when I needed counselling after he was born (dd1 was at nursery) He was a few months old and he is a normal 7 year old - so it didn't do him any harm!! It did feel weird though taking him - but I think it was more to do with the fact that I didn't want my past to taint my kids iyswim? But if I hadn't gone for counselling then the old gremlins would really have taken over so it was a bit of a catch 22...
tbh it was the best thing I could have done...
Sorry - I know I know nothing about your situation and I don't want to post too much of mine but I kinda feel like it applies?
(hugs) and *passes some virtual chocolate*

I have a shouty baby this afternoon. After sleeping all morning, he's now lying on the floor looking up at OH (who's having a kip before starting on his mountain of jobs), raaaaaahh-ing at him to pay him some attention!
