  • Had a great day today - DD1 got a B grade in her diploma GCSE a year early and she had missed so many lessons being in hospital so I was extra proud and OH passed his Team Leader assessment which will mean a pay rise for us :) My dad looked after Ruby this morning whilst I was at work and when I came home he said he had taken her out for a walk in her pram and gave me her coat.... he had only picked one up from the pile of clothes I had sorted for the charity shop and was age 0-3 months:eek: god knows how he managed to squeeze her in - good job shes diddy lol

Not sure If I can go back to college in February. As apparently the whatever hours per week government funding, can't be used during term holidays, and same as college. Well where am I going to find at LEAST £120 a week for however many weeks of holidays there are per year.

At least 10 I can think of. That's over a grand!

Honest to blog, you get nothing if you are in a household where someone earns an average wage, oh wait no, you do get everything taxed, even your pension.

If I was a single or OH didn't work, I'd get everything handed to me on a plate, with a sprinkling of extra money on top. It's not faaaaaaaair

*hugs* Last week, I was racing around trying to get out to an appointment in a hurry but had to express first. Did it, but left the container attached to the horn, just resting in the box (I cart everything through in a tupperware box to save dripping it everywhere) and was seeing to Rhys. When I turned round to grab it to shove it in the fridge, the container was empty.. I hadn't got them screwed together right and it'd all leaked out into the bottom of the (unsterilised!) box! :(
Aww Tia, that sucks! I once knocked a bottle over, I could have slapped myself! It isn't wasted effort though remember, the stimulation is just as important as the milk!

Feelie speak sense (as usual)! :D

Well, it looks like it's going to be yet another one of those nights again. Hersself just woke up after about ten minutes asleep yelling like she was being murdered! *sigh* I miss sleep a lot.

I tried feeding Amber with that breastflow bottle, she was sucking away for 15mins and managed to get a whole 10mls if that! Has anyone had better luck? Is anyone needing a spare 150ml one?
Ed had no problem with the bflow bottle but I've only given him one once :undecided something I may live to regret...

LOL yes... I will entirely agree on THAT point :) Thing is that some drugs are in effect exactly the same, but produced by different companies in different countries - I've worked with GE healthcare, Amersham Pharmaceuticals, Huntingdon Life Sciences and a few others and the back ground work that goes into getting a drug licensed in ONE country let alone all of them is a royal nightmare
:eek:you sure you want to admit that on a public forum? :o

    - There is a UK version of etsy called MISI (make it sell it). MrsMoc buys things on glitches that are on the grabbit etc boards/hotdeals etc and sells them at the carboot. Could you maybe sell some Jam, chutney, a quick guide to frugal living;):D

I want a Grandma and Grandad present for my parents - a "thankyou" from Rhys for all their help with the house ;) Any suggestions - either for a gift or for where from? Was thinking mugs maybe..

Also getting Dad new work trousers (the type with kneepads in - he has some but needs new ones) and Mum a beauty therapy / relaxation voucher :)
