Just remember that they don't always go every day. especially as Caitlin is mostly breastfed Choppy... Aimee only used to go once a week and even went 10 days once... If the poo is loose and runny then they are not constipated. Constipated poos are rock hard... (A lot of babies get constipated when they're weaned incidentally) It could just be wind, or it might be that they don't like the feelings as it all moves round their bowels... Or maybe they feel a bit bloaty before the poo comes out and that's what makes them miserable...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Me being stooopid too. When I read Sami's comment about "giving up to three scoops too much", I quoted it and put the :money:, thinking "how MSE...using less scoops means having to buy it less often". Then I had a:doh: moment and realised that we would be giving the same amount of scoops but just more water (which, actually, is less money saving if you're on a water meter :rotfl:)0 -

oh those markings! they are sooooo hard to read nms! I wish I could read braille, it'd be easier!:o We use one of the older ones as a measuring jug, and do 7oz into it then pour into the annoying bpa free ones

Yep, you and Sami are right. There is definitely nothing hard about her poos!!! I've tried giving her gripe water to help the wind/bloatedness but she has it in her mouth then spits it out, so I've been a bad mummy and dipped the very end of her dummy in it instead and that helps settle her. Don't want her getting a taste for it though.0 -
OK, really must get on, as have done hardly anything. Be back later :wave:0

Why is that bad? When Rhys is having sucrose for pain relief when they do jabs, sometimes they squirt it in his mouth and sometimes have have pots of it and dip his dummy in it. Depends whether I've remembered his dummy / if he's dropped it on the floor by that point, of course!
The lil hot water bottle has been asleep on my chest for the last hour.. Washing up is shouting at me but never mind!0 -
Feeling pleased. Pumped a little over 3oz of milk after Toby's morning feed. Wasn't expecting as much, as it has been so long since I pumped.
When I was having quite a low day a while ago, I sent a letter to the Mental Health Team. Got a reply back this morning, the Pyschiatrist got some specialist advice, and offered me two different types of anti-depressant, which I'll look into. There is a possibillity of one-to-one Cognitive Behaviour Therapy sessions, and to let her know if I'm interested. Pleased with the letter, it sounds very hopeful. If I can find a way to get someone to watch Toby, I think I'd be able to attend therapy.
Will go and catch up now. Special thoughts for MM, and big hugs to the ladies who need them.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Yup, I used to dip Aimee's dummy in gripe water, she loved the stuff! Caitlyn didn't take to it at all (and won't have a dummy)... But then she couldn't be any more different from Aimee lol..A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
