Good luck today MM - I'm thinking of you.

The monster still has her eye infection and we now have drops and ointment for it. But she's given it to me and as luck would have it I have it much worse than she does. I'm glad she isn't this bad because it's horrible. My eye is swollen, bloodshot and tearing constantly, and I have a headache on that side. GRRR.

Hi Tigs and welcome. Congratulations and I hope everything is okay. I too had Rose in SCBU, born 9 weeks early. Wishing you all well.

Sami, I thought you made up formula with one scoop per oz and not by mls?, I've never measured in mls!!!

on the box they say either 1oz or 30ml but 1 oz is less than 30ml. I only found out when I was watching a documentary about norland nannies and it was pointed out when they were being taught how to make bottles, I switched to mls straight away and Chris started pooing with less gurning involved :)

It's a nuisance, especially since I have to pay my Mum back for the sofa this month, but I've never relied on the money (Wouldn't give that man the satisfaction of having me rely on him for anything!) I'm just a little bit gloating that if he has been made redundant (and it's not just a CSA cockup...) He's too stoopid to ring them and tell them so he'll be building up arrears right now that I'll get in a few hefty lump sums when he finds more work...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Funny you should say this but i was talking to the HV re Roses' poo's!!

When breast feeding her she had a poo every 2/3 hours. That happenend the 8 weeks i was feeding her. Never went any longer. When i started FF she seemed to be having problems with going. She only now goes every 2 or 3 days. Now the HV seemed to think she wasnt constipated as her poo's are still really soft but she always explodes out of her nappy and the from as early as the day before she has her poo she seems to be bothered by pain in her tummy. She goes red in the face straining but still no poo for another day or so. It is still the same consistency as when i was BF her tho. Not hard at all. Any ideas? Could this be the amount of formula per oz/mls ratio?

How do you get the measuring so exact? eg 142 mls?

Grrrrrr  just had a shower and Chris came upstairs mummbling with a dummy in, by the time I got him to come in to the bathroom and take dummy out, realised what he was saying and got out of shower the post woman has boogered off with my parcel.
If she'd just pressed the blooming bell I would have heard and got downstairs quicker!

Why she couldn't have hidden it behind the bin or car I don't know surely she knew I was in but just indisposed?!?!

I'm now wondering if I'll get a visit from SS coz she thinks I've left the kids home alone
