  • Talking of old bottles, why are mine all horrible? Really dull and just grotty looking? Do they need replacing regularly? I cold water sterilised and didn't heat, do duprised they only lasted 8 weeks?

  • feelie, i replace the teats every 8 weeks or so, and only change the bottles if they dont look as good as they used to, or if I see a really nice one :)

Gah, just had a right explosive situation to deal with there!

Big explosive poop, right out the side of the nappy, all over the vest and muslin. Rapidly transferred to the change mat where Rhys then was sick, sneezed and started crying with real tears! Just needed him to wee on me for the full set of bodily fluids! _pale_ :(

I've just replaced the teats (today - they came in the post this morning!) which we've been using for seven weeks since we came home. Bottles are still the same ones but they still feel fine.

ETA: It's latex teats we're using. And bloody hard they were to get hold of too! :(

Feelie cold water sterilising reduces their life, I used the same bottles for Chris from birth to 2yrs 4mths I've binned the ones we used for the entire time coz they were all battered on the outside from repeated chucking in changing bag etc
I used the same teats until he needed next size up, I know they say change them but I reckon that comes from when the used latex teats that go manky after a few weeks

I'm looking for puzzles like these but preferably thicker :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Afternoon all, back from GTT... wasnt too bad actually as they had run out of the normal 'wallpaper paste' type stuff so ended up with a bottle of Lucozade to drink instead!!!

Also sneaked out of the hospital and treated myself to some new underwear from Mothercare that was in the sale (not supposed to leave hospital grounds while doing test!)

Just had a lovely cheese omelette and salad at local cafe and now going to plod through rest of ironing while Lo is at Grandparents for the day.

    Congrats on the new arrival...BTW
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

ok lots to catch up on so sorry if i miss you out!
Tigsteroonie & Marleyboy congrats on the arrival of your baby boy the pictures of him just made me melt! i wish you all the best and a speedy recovery for your little man! remember all the oats etc for keeping your milk supply up! we are all here any time you want a chat/advice need i go on lol!

MM glad you got all the answers you were looking for at your app and sounds good that Dylan has been referred to the physio.

weezl i have just recieved the feeder things in my asda order will report back once i have tried them out as i have a sleeping baby!

ok my news so far: i got depo but they put it in my arm? every other time its been in my bum was a bit confused lol!
HV came out today and has promised me a place in a nursery for Charlie for restbite for us all! she has to phone them back on mon and arrange a visit etc for us! she has also got us an appointment to see a childrens mental health worker who will come to the house in oct with HV and assess charlie. they still want him to see the peads doctor to make sure there is nothing physically wrong? so i am quite happy about all of this as it feels like we are getting somewhere and they believe there is a problem and not that its in my head?
i have the doctors in an hour and am craping myself? this week is the worst since being on the tablets and im worried she thinks im crazy and locks me up(i know she wont but my mind is on overtime?) i asked OH to cancel the app but i just got that look so i think i better go!

hugs for all in need and sorry if i have forgotten anything!

Door bouncers.. Other than being able to hold their heads up, are there any other reasons why babies shouldn't go in door bouncers? Rhys is lying on the floor in front of me, jigging about. He loves kicking his piano, has got the strength to support his weight on straight legs and can hold his head up. Anyone see a reason why I shouldn't get him a door bouncer? (other than my precious brand new door frames! ;))? Hope Asda have got them in their baby event again.. :)

MM, I'm thinking of all the things the physio said. Will dig out the paperwork she gave me and get back to you later tonight if that's okay :)
  • sami, there are loads of nice puzzles on here, maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but I really like them, in fact, I may have just ordered 2:rolleyes::rotfl:
