  • We had a really broken night last night. The worst for absolutely ages  is it a full moon or something?

Benjamin woke at 3.30am, 4.30am and then 6.00am and refused to sleep after that (he normally will go back down til about 7.30/8am and then has another nap at 9.15am.

We were out today at a family fun day at the dogs so he refused to sleep at all until MIL took him away from the crowds in his buggy. He had about 20 mins at 12, then another 20 mins at about 4pm and that was it until he went down at 8pm!!

Benjamin has been mostly fine - I, on the other hand, have been as cranky as hell!! I tried to grab an hour with Benjamin about 5pm but I had to call hubby to take the baby away because his refusal to sleep was winding me up :o

Here's hoping for a better night tonight - for all of us.

thanks everyone, just won a snow bear electric pump (used, I'm not fussy) for £11.99 inc delivery. bloody dh phoned and I missed a bargain medela pump in style that went for £21.99, was winning the bidding war too!!!:mad::mad::mad:

amber is wanting held, tried feeding her and she just screams. not a very good day... going to give her her EBM + formula and get her settled for the night, too emotionally drained to do anything else.

Oh I know that feeling well! :o Sympathy and hugs! xxx

I'm sold on the idea of going to stay at my mum's on Wednesday night.. looking forward to it already. Don't think I'll get a look in with doing stuff for Rhys but at least it'll be good practise for Mum looking after him if we start doing an afternoon/day a week at her house so I can get on with "stuff".

I feel truely minging today.. Fed up of looking crap, have come out in about twenty spots over night and really need my hair cutting :(

Next full moon is Friday... It's getting close...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

And that's why you need a Medela Swing ;):p

It's the other way round.. dungarees are Newborn (11lb) and top is Early Baby (7.5lb).. Did you wonder why Ed grew out of them amazingly quickly? ;):p
I've got TT hand pump and a boots electric one but both are packed away :o I asked hubby if he would do something nice for me (just now) and get the electric one out and sterilised for me - he just ignored me!
I'm glad you know whats what at leat with the dungers :p maybe the one I have here are 0-3
ladies and gents question hopefully by my birthday next year i would of past my driving test .......... what is the cheapest car to insure fo a fist time driver how is 25 ............ you probably wont know but worth a shot x
even though a corsa is in grp 1 they tend to be expensive though because they're a favourite of the boy racer ;)
I had a 1yr old micra when hubby had a 3yr old corsa and we checked which would be cheaper to keep if we only kept one and it was best to keep my micra as its a girly car not known for having silly loud exhausts and pumping stereo you see :D
Sami - my DD has turned into a groupie! Everytime she sees the computer she demands to see Timmy! and I can't just play the video once.

    sorry :undecided
Tadoodles are fab!!! Chris has them and they're not very messy at all, the pain dries pretty quick so not too bad as he like to be hands on too :p
the tadoodle markers are much messier than the pains tho so try to avoid them IMO ;) we got ours from Asda and wilkinsons not sure how much tho

Weezl, try eggy bread/gypsy toast/french toast made with just yolks?? just off the top of my head suggestion :)

Choppy don't get that milk powder thingy tesco do their own brand one for about £1 :money: also you can get 1/2 size powder boxes from boots if you use cow n gate they work out slightly more expensive than buying big boxes but for size n weigh when on hoiday should be fine as a one off :)
Don't forget you may need to take your own kettle, if you have space go for a tesco £4.xx one as the cheapest travel one I could find was £10
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

*draws the curtains* You've been looking in, haven't you?

Just waiting for the pump kit to sterilise so I can express and then I can pour myself a glass of wine.. just the one mind - drunk in charge of the straighteners would not be good! :o

We have the barnaby bouncer and to be honest I only held onto it cos MFD sung its praises!!! I'm glad I did as now Leila is starting to like it and to poke the teddys. She prefers the vibration to the rocking motion on it.

It wasnt any good when she was first born though as like others have said it doesnt recline enough.

I just ordered some breast shells - thanks Sami. I'm sick of soaking through my breast pads at her 5pm feeding session. Its only ever that one though.

Nothing else to report really. Its been great to have hubby home for the day though xx
Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j
