I last fed Caitlin at 5pm. She then had a bottle of EBM at 6:45pm and I started expressing at 9pm, so you'd think my boobs would be nice and full, but no . I've managed to get a measly 2oz (in 20mins) from my good side and have just started on my right side. Only been going less than 5minutes but already there is hardly anything coming out.

Fine thanks, sorry to say I'm actually relieved that OH is back at work tomorrow!

I have a busy week ahead of me! Good job my MIL took my ironing away again when she babysat on Saturday

Don't take not leaking as a sign that you aren't making enough, it just means your supply is a little more settled. Have you tried expressing in the morning? Or while Caitlin feeds from the other side? Did you pop her on the breast before you gave her the bottle of EBM? Some peolpe find it helps to express a little bit after each feed too... Don't be disheartened, you're doing brilliantly

I have to wait a good 5 hours or so to get a lot of EBM

Do you keep pumping to see if your milk will come in again?

BTW - I think 2 oz in 20 mins is good at Caitlins age

We talked about having a baby for 6mths before I got pregnant, he agreed that this time would be different and he would try harder at the more boring stuff (as he call it) like the evenings when they're fractious and not being able to join in sometimes with stuff that is more fun as someone has to stay with the baby. Well it's no different, a week and a half off and I've put my foot down tonight and he's stuck upstairs with madam so as I can have a break.

Still sulking about my birthday too!!! :mad:
