  • Most bedtimes are fine, but she still plays up loads at the weekends, but so long as it stays at the weekends we are fine !!
She now goes up to bed at 8.30 in bed for 8.45 and usually sleeping for 9.30, so I have knocked about an hour and a half off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really proud of myself cuz she fought it every inch of the way, but it has worked and I have a life back at night that doesnt involve shouting, running up and down the stairs and crying :)

Not sure if this is useful to any of you with younger ones i.e under a year, I did it altho not relevant at Els age but I did it so I could tell you lot how long it takes. It takes bout 10-15 mins with answers, hints, suggestions at the end.

AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH, why does my bloody mother always want to make conversation about my milk supply?! As if I'm not stressed out about it enough as it is.. I so want to try that "spend the day in bed" thing but I can't even do that cos we have no bed yet, plus there's always someone coming and going or some appointment to be at.. Grrrrr... Why to I feel more in demand than ever, right when I just want some time on my own with Rhys?! :( Just want the world to sod off!

    Sorry.. :o

I'm probably just expecting too much :o. I've only managed to get 0.5oz out of my "bad" side though. I'd just love to be someone who is able to have a stock of milk in my freezer.

At least you got some out. I could never get the hang of expressing at all - apart from on a super duper machine in the hospital that sounded like a jet engine taking off and felt like it was going to suck my nipples clean off

Choppy, don't worry about expressing in the morning, you will still have milk all through the day... Your breasts never actually empty, they just keep making milk so it is always there for baby, even if you fed / expressed 10mins ago, they'll still make more for another feed :)
