Button, the best one was one of the last times they were over here (before I had Rhys) and OH and his mate had just got back from playing squash. OH was eating a banana and LO looked interested so he gave him one of his own - OH expecting him to know what it was and what to do with it.

Turns out neither LO nor his mum knew how to peel it, so OH had to show him (turned it into a game for LO then noticed the look of relief on his mum's face halfway through) and then LO demolished it like he'd not eaten for a month and just beamed at OH. His parents were on the floor in shock!

Jesus!! Do you think they have kept up giving him bananas? And who the hell eats chilli out of a can *SPEW* The only thing in this house that comes out a can is beans of all kinds and chopped tomatoes.

I can't fathom why they are like that with him? Mcdonalds all the time too? Bet his salt levels are sky high!

Keira was eating some skittles earlier (naked, she never keeps her clothes on) and she dropped one and said "Oh my sweet fell on my foof" I said "Well you better put it in the bin because it will stink now!" and she took a bit sniff and went "mmmm nommmy" and scoffed it. I found it really funny....but maybe I'm just warped!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I love those kind of comments they make. Kids are lovely! OH said he doesn't know how I can sit and chat to kids I don't know. We were on a steam train today and had several chats with random children, I love little ones. :D
Too many children, too little time!!!

OMG I'm not the healthiest of eaters but I do try my best when it comes to El even if I buy things for her to try and they end up in the bucket I don't care at least she's tried it and I know she doesn't like it for the mo but I will buy it again and try her again, coz it's true, what they like one day they won't eat the next!!!!

Actually Elle, those people remind me of my parents, I didn't even know what a pepper was until I met OH. Even now there is never fruit in her house and when Ellie comes here, she is straight to my fruit bowl demolishing oranges, apples and grapes. My mum said she isn't buying them cause they are "Dear" Ok you can get a bag of apples for £1, she doesn't say that when she is spending £10+ on a bottle of vodka! Ellie also survives on cans of beans and sausages, sausage rolls, curry sauce and rice (and not even nice ones, farmfoods micro pap) and of course the daily pop and sweet allowance!

Doubtful. His Dad said at the time that he doesn't like bananas and as he's the one doing the food shopping he won't be buying them!

Just before he was one, it was all "Oh, when he's one he can have proper food like fish fingers, smilie faces and chicken nuggets" - before that he was on jars of baby food, nothing at all ever homemade or just a piece of fresh fruit (hence the banana incident, I guess).

How could your OH be friends with someone like that! He won't buy bananas because he doesn't like them? What a selfish inconsiderate A - hole. Hope you don't mind me saying that.

    Sorry, laptop died..

Don't get me wrong - OH and I by no means have a fab diet, but I'm going to try my hardest to cover that up from Rhys! ;) I have no idea what to do with butternut squash (I'm hoping MFD will tell me! :p) but I'm already looking forward to having bright coloured icecubes of mush in my freezer! :D

They've been friends since they were 11. The mate only got more of a t**t when he got married and even more so once LO came along - he didn't like being given the ultimatum of "marry me or I'm off" after nine years together, and now really doesn't like the fact the attention is more on LO than him. He's known for his tantrums.. the mate, not the LO! ;) OH frequently gets very close to ending the friendship.. he's backed away from him a lot since I came along
