My 'friends' in the loosest sense of the term had them play at their wedding!! It was in Somerset and needless to say they are no longer together ;):D

Actually, it was at that wedding that I was called 'the lowest common denominator' by my friends new bf!! It has stuck with me because it was such a good insult!!!

To be fair, I was moaning that I didn't have any mint in my pimms, he was moaning that he had tons in his and he hated the stuff and my fingers accidently found themselves in his glass to rectify both our problems :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Classy chick me!!!

I can't wait to go to their wedding ;) oh what mischief I can get up to :D

Play.com was one of the only places I could find the HM Armed Forces toys back in April when they were new out. Great as you don't pay delivery.
Too many children, too little time!!!

Hi all.. I'm back, having had a cuppa and the majority of a bar of Milka to calm me *sigh*

I wasn't wrong with the Happy Meal, only the time of day. He had one for lunch, plus Coke Zero this morning, tinned chilli for tea (although didn't eat much of it) and half a glass of his mum's Ribena (with her holding the glass for him).. Aside from that, he had a slice of cucumber, few bits of lettuce, two slices of garlic bread and some of his mum's lasagne after she said not to bother dishing him up as as he wouldn't eat it ;) Also had a cherry tomato after the words "You've not had tomato.. umm, you don't like tomato" were uttered too

They also, very oddly I thought, didn't bring any toys at all with them so nothing to keep his interest apart from running around the house, picking up everything in sight and trying to run to the crib where Rhys was sleeping (amazingly!) and trying to shake it, despite the four of us shouting "no!" at him..

They didn't say much about Rhys' birth or condition now except for asking if I was bored stuck in the house all week and then I gave them a brief run down of all the apps we'd been to lately. And the words "brain scan" stopped them in their tracks :p OH's mate saw OH prep a bottle for Rhys (something he's never done for his own LO) and his eyes nearly popped out his head when he saw the box of medicines on the side and OH doing all the measuring with the syringes etc..

All in all, an enlightening night. OH and I had our usual "tell me our child isn't going to turn out like that" chat afterwards.. :o Oh, and Rhys is STILL asleep.. on his front  We only let him sleep on his front whilst we're totally awake and check on him (read: tickle the back of his neck and make sure he really squirms :o) every ten mins or so. Hospital said it was okay as long as we checked on him as that's his most comfy place, plus of course he can roll and lift his head and chest up off the mattress.

MFD :rotfl: my favourite insult was said to me by my a-level maths teacher he used to call me obtuse all the time but the best was "you're like a dripping tap" :p

Those people sound weird Elle, Keira eats a lot of crap because she is going through that fussy phase (she still eats fruit and other healthy things though) but I can't believe they have never given him a tomato!! Esp as he seems like a boy who would eat anything put in front of him. Shameful!

Elle you would have to have a complete personality change for Rhys to end up like that.

I'm off to bed, bottle thrown down Ambers throat, she is still sneezing and coughing and snotty but not ill with it so far so I'm going to grab the sleep while I can.

Keira was eating some skittles earlier (naked, she never keeps her clothes on) and she dropped one and said "Oh my sweet fell on my foof" I said "Well you better put it in the bin because it will stink now!" and she took a bit sniff and went "mmmm nommmy" and scoffed it. I found it really funny....but maybe I'm just warped!

I was so annoyed today I went out and bought a new bulb for my bed side lite and I bought a baynet instead of a screw in!!! Argh another nite with the big lights on and it means I have to get out my bed and switch the light out!!!!!
