Only just read this page so here goes.
Sleep gear: Jack (2 and 3/4)goes down in a vest (not poppered just normal) and a nappy under a summer weight duvet and is suitable warm, Molly is the same in a vest (one of jack's not poppered) and a nappy and a 1tog grobag and seems fine too, maybe our house is a warm one, but not in winter for Miss Molly. Tonight at 18m for the first time we've removed one of her cot rails to give her access and put a bed guard that jack used to keep her in. The plan is to do this for few weeks, the a duvet, then remove the guard, then heyho a bed!!!.
She went down fine this eve but she was very very tired, the telling time will be if we get our lie in tomorrow!
With regards to a religion, the kids can decide for themselves when old enough, our opinion only.0 -

I have really no use for them but I'm fighting the want to buy these
I found the cow-print stuff I bought a bit girly in the endI don't know why...maybe it is because I think of myself as a milk-cow these days
Benjamin woke up squealing earlier and Hubby went up and sorted him out :T:T I mean he was proper squealing, not his usual 'I've lost my dummy and need you to find it' kinda crying!!
I was very impressedand hubby came down with a huge smile on his face!!!
I was halfway up the stairs thoughplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Evening everyone.
Hope everybody's had a good week, thanks for all the birthday wishes on Monday but as expected there was no mention at all from OH about it being my birthday other than the card when I woke up.Started the holiday off on the wrong foot really and I was left wishing I'd taken the kids on my own. We booked again while we were there as we were told there was a special price for booking on site and it turns out that the date they gave us for May half term next year isn't half term at all, so now I'm worried I'll have to pay for a holiday I can't go on.
P.S. Cool socks Sami!Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

i am not a religious person either, but love being in a church. i am extremely envious though of people that have such faith. it must be amazing to be able to take comfort in something.
its generally family thinking its the right thing to do... me and philip dont believe in faith or god so dont see why we should enforce it on our kids id rather wait til they could make the decision themselves which id totally repect .. plus churchs really creep me out

One sleepy baby girl and one sleepy daddykins tucked up in bed.
Honeypop - Leila has slept on her tummy from about 2 weeks and before that she was tilted on her side slightly. She startled too easily on her back and woke herself up constantly but sleeps very peacefully on her tummy. I tried her on her back again reently and then heard her coughing a few mins later as she'd brought back milk. I'm happier with her on her tummy but thats just my personal choice. She has always moved her head from side to side and her face has never smooshed into the mattress! She also creeps on her tummy up the cot so all i've done is remove the bumper and all the toys from the top end just in case.
What else did I have to say?
Oh yes, I came over here from pregnancy thread pretty quickly, it was nice to reacquaint myself with some of the people (you know who you are) who were with me in my early pregnancy before they left to come over here. I thought i'd be a bit intimidated by those with older children as I thought they would think I was silly for asking newbie questions, but on the contrary it's been great to have the benefit of everyone's experience and I also get to learn what i've got to look forward to (or not) as my baby grows up.
Regarding temperature and sleeping attire, we call Leila a hot bot because she always tends to be warm. She pretty much sleeps only in her sleepsuit and a sheet folded double. On cooler evenings like tonight she has her sleeping bag but usually it comes off at the 5am feed as she gets warm in there and I also need to empty the collection of methane gas that accumlates at the bottom!! (we also call her trumpet trousers!)

Caitlyn alway shuts up for my hubby you know... I get quite jealous sometimes... Makes me a little glad I'm the only one that can feed her LOL...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
