What sort of place do you want to go to, MFD? Hotel, self catering, apartment, villa? Did you see that website I told rmac about - www.villarenters.com?

We just went through the christmas present pile to see what we've got and compile a spreadsheet in an effort to avoid over spending on Aimee again this year... They actually both have the same number of presents at the moment, although we plan another 3 or 4 for aimee as part of her big present and just 1 or 2 more for caitlyn seeing as she's not going to appreciate them anyway... Can't believe how behind I am on the Christmas buying this year... Not even halfway through the list and I'm usually finished by the end of September!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'm checking my hubby's work for him and trying to pack to go to my mum's place tomorrow. Hubby suggested I visit her so I arranged it so I would stay over tomorrow (she lives a 2 hr drive away) but now he's saying 'so i'm going to be all on my own tomorrow'. He knows how to make me feel bad!!!
He's just tripped over the play gym so it serves him right. It's called karma!!:rotfl:Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
BEHIND?! I've not even started thinking about the birthdays at the end of September yet!0

It's a by product of being poor... Start early so it doesn't completely wipe you out in November...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... My disorganisation is nowt to do with being able to afford it in a lump sum - it's sheer idleness and having a family who can't make suitable suggestions until a week before
That said, I've just remembered the big bag of play balls I could have picked up from ELC today while I didn't have Rhys with me - birthday present for nephew at the beginning of October.. :doh:0 -
I got some prezzies in the Jan sales and Chris a present in march :A I've just started to look again now, I'm gonna get him the peppa pig phonics thing, some Timmy Time goodies and maybe a leap pad thingy. I know what I'm getting Dad too but I'm hoping for a voucher code to pop up for firebox.
Krystal do you have a budget per child and if so does it change with age and or your funds?0 -
I have no scooby doo what to get Keira for Xmas! Birthdays and Xmas's always give me a headache because I don't know what to buy her besides books and puzzles. She has everything that is "big" - Kitchen, Dolls house, Farm, Table and chairs, Vtech console thingy ma bobba, a bike (she can only half peddle, its funny lol)
So what else is left to buy a girl that has everything? She keeps saying she wants a doll, but TOUGH, she already has 2 and they cost over £30 and she has scribbled on their faces and given one a moustache! So she isn't getting anymore to vandalise!0 -
What sort of things have you already bought? Do you buy toys for the age group they will be at Christmas? Or just a mix based on what you know from previous experience babies of that age like?
At best, I could start putting money away for it now then buy in one go when I have a better idea of what Rhys will be capable of playing with and what size clothes he'll be wearing then closer to the time..0
