MFD, guess what we've got? A bright blue Bugs Bunny fleecey sleepsuit!
It's a present from the lady at the end of my parents' street who's house I used to walk past to go to school. She heard about Rhys from another neighbour further up the road who heard about him from the lady in the shop who heard about him from her daughter who saw him on Facebook.. Good Lord!
Aw bless - how lovely!! And a cracking gift too!!!
Benjamin will be wearing his tomorrow night when we drive home from grandads house at bedtime. Grandad is 65 tomorrow! Hope Benjamin is in a good mood for him, he has been suffering with his teeth today and it seems to be stopping him sleeping
My little boy taught me a lesson today. We went to bed for a nap at about 4pm because Benjamin had refused to sleep all day...I was feeding him laying down and he kept stopping to look at me and laugh or poke his finger up my nose or in my eye
So I said 'do you want this booby or not?' waggling it at him...but when he moved forward I put my finger in his mouth instead (playing a little trick on him!) His face was a picture, he was so confused bless him. So I laughingly did it a few more times, by which stage we were both chuckling away, me at Benjamin and him at me laughing at him!!
So I decided it was time to calm down and brought him towards me to continue feeding, he took my nipple in his mouth and BIT DOWN REALLY HARD - then laughed his head off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My Mummy is very good at what she does (if I do say so myself lol) It has been pointed out on every OFSTED inspection though  She swears by sparklebox
I would tentatively say maybe they haven't banned what ever it is but changed their mind as to how to teach (for the millionth time) Drives Mummy Bee up the wall that everything gets changed so often but its just the same old three ideas. #1 idea is great then 'they' decided oh noo we need to do it all #2 way then, well you get the ideaSorry Sami not me who's a teacher, I work on a building site with loads of blokes (same thing I guess:rotfl:)at least I got the right child/mum combo
I get mixed up as some of the 'original parents' aren't on as much now
I hope all the newer ones didn't make them feel pushed out?
I feel a bit torn because I knew the 'originals' but I also know everyone else off the pg thread too!0 -
I just dont always get chance to post Sami, plus I do wonder if I should be on Pg thread but then think I might feel odd one out on there as know you lot more!! Plus being at work all day it takes me ages to catch up with all your posts!!Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0

elle the doctors dont really seem bothered at the hosp, the dietician told my sister about the milk and she is battleing everyone about getting it. can i ask what the milk powders are? is it to bulk him up? as this is what they have talked about?
MM i might be wrong its either he is 12lb or he should be at least 12lb? he is on the 2nd centile though and either doesnt put weight on or looses it.What's for you won't go past you0 -
thanks ill DHL her to you lol! she is grumpy with her teeth and has been screaming in her sleep?? poor jaydin didnt know what was going on as she was hitting him and grabbing at him :rotfl:i cant wait to see the 2 of them running around together(more than likely he will be running away from her:p)
We just had a screaming fit and little boy is now sobbing in his sleepwhy are teeth so evil??
I haven't heard anything about that

No - the ones that I am thinking about have been banned by a lot of the schools around here because the creater/author was convicted of a nasty child-related crime. Some schools had everything destroyed apparently, others have just refused to use it anymore after supplies run out.
Nothing to do with a change in curriculum.
Have quickly googled and can't find any scandal (my friend who is a reception teacher told me about it) so it must be something else (but a very similar kind of stuff).please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Quick log on to read the last page and in replyy to sami b as one of the "originals", no i don't feel pushed out by the new mummies its just this thread now moves so fast sometimes up to 10 pages a day, i just can't keep up and don't want to spend hours online reading only to do the same thing the next day. I just don't have the time. So i just log on every few days or once a weeek and read the last page.
Its bound to happen though as the mummies grow in numbers, its been over 3 years since i started the pregnancy thread and the parent thread will be 3 in december or january.0 -
(((Hugs))) for Weezl.
((calming hugs)) for SM
We had our free photo shoot from the bounty pack today but I dont get to collect my photo for 3 weeks. Leila was as good as gold but I felt that it was really rushed and the pic werent that great to be honest. I still had to restrain myself from spending £100 on photos though and just bought one extra for my mum.
Just wondering for those who have bumbos what age you put your LO in it.
xxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
