Oh, talking of weights. My 19lb 13oz baby was led on a mat next to a 12 day old baby who was 5 weeks early. That was a sight!

I think its Maz that is a teacher, she has a LO called Henry doesn't she??

Sorry Sami not me who's a teacher, I work on a building site with loads of blokes (same thing I guess:rotfl:)

We both have seperate a/cs where wages get paid and then a joint one for bills but I also try to put money away into little savings pots for Xmas, car, holidays etc as I get more than OH. I also earn more so any extra gets put aside. I look after money as part of my job so guess thats why I'm more careful than OH.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

Mrs T she has the HV out twice a week and she attends the hosp every 3 weeks and doc every week. they havent even done any tests on him so really they dont know what is wrong with him. i must admit the HV has been great and been trying to push for things but they keep getting hit with the budget spiel? he was 7lb 5oz when born and he has to be fed every hour as his stomach cannot take any more than a few ounces a time, even then he brings most of it back up?

Nah, it is just usually when addicts are mentioned it quickly spirals into an 'addicts are evil, to blame for everything' type thing.

It is a sad situation, I hope it gets sorted tomorrow. If not, tell her to ask at reception for the details of her local PALS team.

sorry if you took it like that it was more i am more angry that the doctors at the surgery concerned are more interested in heroin adicts than helping an ill baby? i will keep you all updated but hopefully with all the evidence and research she has done they might eventually listen!

Hmmm could it be severe reflux? I guess if anywhere is going to help though it'll be the hospital... Let's face it... doctors sadly often don't have an in depth enough knowledge about baby issues... At my surgery there is one more specialized GP for the baby appointments depending on what the issue is. All the GPs see the infants but if in doubt they refer the case to him same as they refer all in depth questions about coils etc to 1 of 2 GPs at the surgery who can fit them. Bearing in mind there are about 12 GPs at the surgery here... :)
I'd see what the hospital says tomorrow and fingers crossed they finally do more extensive tests on him to find the problem :(

Caz, will the hospital docs prescribe it from their pharmacy, or is that what your sis is going to ask tomorrow?

Rhys is on several pricey things with the GP won't fund so we get that from the hospital. That said, we're talking the £200 a time jab he has, not the £28 milk powders :(

I had freecycle folk round today and I got 2 bags of sweets, they obviously went in the bin:whistle: and a bag of home grown spuds. There are still some lovely/grateful people out there!!
