I know what I'm getting 1 of my sisters though - A JLS hoody. Is it sad that I want one in pink?0

Do they still make those teddies that you draw on and then stick in the washer?Buttonmoons wrote: »So what else is left to buy a girl that has everything? She keeps saying she wants a doll, but TOUGH, she already has 2 and they cost over £30 and she has scribbled on their faces and given one a moustache! So she isn't getting anymore to vandalise!
I didn't get Chris much and won't get Ed much either, when they're so small there's not much to get lol. Ed will be getting a babies 1st xmas bauble and a personalised present sack, a posh outfit to be worn on the day and some posh PJs, a few small toys/books maybe some stuff for starting weaning and for out skiing holsWhat sort of things have you already bought? Do you buy toys for the age group they will be at Christmas? Or just a mix based on what you know from previous experience babies of that age like?
At best, I could start putting money away for it now then buy in one go when I have a better idea of what Rhys will be capable of playing with and what size clothes he'll be wearing then closer to the time..

Pjs are opened on Christmas eve though so we all look nice in our new PJs on the present opening photos

Hi, just thought i'd pop in

I'm thinking about getting DS a Nintendo DS
for Xmas. He'll be 6 and a half, and he'll love it but i have been saying no to one cos of his age. Got him a V Smile Cyber last yr and it's quite rubbish tbh, the games don't have much scope and get boring within 30 mins lol
Btw did you see baby Tigs update a few mins ago, he's off the ventilator :T:T http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=24543601#post245436010 -
I don't know if anyone remembers but aaaaaages ago on Codes or Grabbit (i forget which) there was a loophole where you could get a dolls pram set worth about £40 for £2 or something silly. Well it's still boxed in my cupboard and it will be dug out in about 3 or 4 years for my new baby haha, that's very MSE0

Now that sounds to me plenty enough for a wee dinky one who'll probably be more interested in eating the wrapping paper anyway, but if you as parents get all that, what do family and friends buy?

I will ask for money for their savings but will more than likely be ignored by most  Chris will end up with loads of Choc that will be eaten by those pesky elves  and they'll prob get clothes of a few. My mum usually buys things similar to what I get but they stay at her house, like for Chris's 1st xmas I got him a little scoot/push along car and she got him a thomas the tank one that stayed at hers
I've just got these for Chris
