I'm meeting my Mummy friend again! Getting our babies weighed, then for a coffee before my Doctors appointment. It feels nice having a buddy!

I had all sorts of nightmares last night, not fun at all. And for the past week, every night I've dreamt I've been drinking! Got through several bottles of Pineapple Bacardi Breezer in my sleep. How odd!

I'm having internet trouble too, annoying Router is on the blink. I have to phone them later, but I keep forgetting. And my new PC arrives tomorrow!
That's brilliant feely!! It does feel nice when you make your first Mummy friend... Aimee's best friends are the children of the 2 first Mummy friends I ever made, they all go round in a little 3 some at school :)

Not one for analysing dreams, but occaisionally I dream I've been smoking on the sly... Always wake up feeling guilty lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

OH bum! I don't think I included child benefit in my total income! Does anyone know if I should have?
You don't count it as income :D

Yes, mine does! She reminds me of a little kitten, when they do the pawing thing! :rotfl:

The tax credits thing is really making my brain hurt!

I hoping if I write this down, it will suddenly make sense to me.
I was thinking, as my ML started in January, I should have take 10 weeks (End Jan to End March) worth of £100's, off the earnings amount I told Tax Credits for this April's renewal.
Then next April, i'll deduct the further 29 weeks (April-Nov'09) of £100's off next years earnings.
    Anyone still with me?
So, is it worth me phoning them with my new, £600 lower figure? Or is it too late?

I really should be thinking about starting to pack - we go away on Thursday and i'm normally so organised! But I don't know where to start! We have to fit clothes for 6 people, for 5 days, and baby equipment, into half of our boot!
Yes that is all correct so call them and say you've only just been made aware of it they 'should' update both figures and hopefully backdate last yrs as technically its too late for that one.
Ed paws occasionally but usually he just put his arm over it as if to say "its my booby, hands off :p"

Boo at bad dreams, as long as you're not wanting the alc-ee-hol when you're awake tho :)

Our TV/internet goes funny sometimes if a big lorry goes past  annoying on 2 levels; firstly because the wire isn't buried deep enough and secondly because our road is "unsuitable for heavy good vehicles" not that lorry drivers bother to read that sign
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

LOL - if it had been with us I'd have done my darnedest to get the charges waivered but as you're with smelly Virgin then I can't do nuffink :P
We have the whole package with them... Hubby keeps mentioning going to BT and getting sky TV... I'm not keen though...

And they're not that smelly, they credited our account for the inconvenience of having no internet for so long (it went off over night, we didn't care, we were sleeping!)

Talking of sleeping... Caitlyn went to bed at 9:30 last night... Woke for a feed at 3:30, woke got another feed at 7, went back to sleep and is still sleeping now!

Oh, I want my tax credits stuff to arrive so I can phone them and change it to this years figures :( Got all excited when I heard the letterbox but all we got today, coincidentially, was a leaflet about going back to BT from Virgin! :p

ETA: Oh oh oh, just checked my bank account and I've had a credit of £285 - can't think of anything else I'm expecting so it must be the backdated tax credits :D Paperwork on it's way then :j (am I sad to be excited about this?)

Have just put my [STRIKE]hot water bottle[/STRIKE] son down for yet another nap. Hopefully Mum will keep him busy enough this afternoon to tire him out - she won't be able to resist. If he's asleep, she'll wake him up the second I'm out the door!

Morning all  my head feels all cotton-wooly today. I think I'm just tired. Silly thing to say to a forum of new mummies really isn't it?! :rotfl: So I feel your pain MrsT, yet I have to confess at getting a whole nights sleep (don't shoot me).....

I'm off to see a mummy friend with twins this afternoon and as it's a lovely day here I think I'll walk into the village first. Must hurry up then!!!

Quick question - Tax creits, when you call them with your maternity pay stuff and they "update" their system, do you also get paperwork through to confirm this?

    Hope all is well!
