Ladybird, the summary of the discussion was that the first £100 perweek of SMP is not included in our declared total earnings, so you give your earnings as £3900 lower, split over the 2 tax years your SMP period fell within.
IYSWIM?
edit: for example, the first 9 weeks of my SMP were in tax year 08/09, so I have reduced my earnings by £900, and the remaining 30 weeks in 09/10 so I have reduced my projected earnings for current year by £3000.
hope that helps, I'll try again if not!

Tine, Caitlyn will sleep till 6 some nights and not on others... Remember she's still only little so it's quite normal for her to wake up hungry in the night... Just be thankfull it's not every 2 hours like the early days!
Oddly our internet keeps cutting out... Engineer is due out between 4 and 7 tonight... Hoping it'll be closer to 7 when hubby is home... All I know is sometimes it doesn't work but hubby's made it work by wiggling the wire near the box where it comes into the house... Oh and while he's there I'm going to ask him to shorten the wire... Now we have wireless and a laptop we don't need it trailing all round the lounge, through the wall and under the stairs...
Good luck with practising the lying down today Tia... Get yourself comfy first then pull amber close... Try to avoid pushing on the back of her head if you can, it can cause a reflexive straining against your hand movement, but tuck her body in and she will root around for the nipple.A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Yes, mine does! She reminds me of a little kitten, when they do the pawing thing! :rotfl:
The tax credits thing is really making my brain hurt!
I hoping if I write this down, it will suddenly make sense to me.
I was thinking, as my ML started in January, I should have take 10 weeks (End Jan to End March) worth of £100's, off the earnings amount I told Tax Credits for this April's renewal.
Then next April, i'll deduct the further 29 weeks (April-Nov'09) of £100's off next years earnings.
Anyone still with me?
So, is it worth me phoning them with my new, £600 lower figure? Or is it too late?
I really should be thinking about starting to pack - we go away on Thursday and i'm normally so organised! But I don't know where to start! We have to fit clothes for 6 people, for 5 days, and baby equipment, into half of our boot!:beer:0 -
This is on my Step MIL's account so don't know if you'll be able to see... But here's my cutey yesterday (on my gorgeous new sofa too!) http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/photo.php?pid=2298031&id=782658424&ref=nfA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... What ISP are you with Krystal?
If it's the internal wiring though then there is probably little the ISP can do - it needs to be fixed inside your house
don't know about your ISP but ours charge for the priviledge of having an engineer visit if it's internal wiring that's at fault... DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I'm meeting my Mummy friend again! Getting our babies weighed, then for a coffee before my Doctors appointment. It feels nice having a buddy!
I had all sorts of nightmares last night, not fun at all. And for the past week, every night I've dreamt I've been drinking! Got through several bottles of Pineapple Bacardi Breezer in my sleep. How odd!
I'm having internet trouble too, annoying Router is on the blink. I have to phone them later, but I keep forgetting. And my new PC arrives tomorrow!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
We're with Virgin... No idea if they'll charge us, but the engineers are on the whole good guys... I had someone decorate my living room for me a couple of years ago and he managed to cut right through my phone line... The cable man should of charged me £80! But he put it down to faulty BT wiring so I didn't have to pay...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
