In answer to your earlier question - only 3 1/2 oz tonight
Will keep going for now but there is no way I am going to depress myself over a decreasing supply. Might try fenugreek for a week or two though
oh hon, but it's 3.5oz of the house white more than you had (hoping that helps:D)
i got my fenugreek at Holland and Barrett...think it's about £7.50
dashing off to harvest and then sleep for me..... and i would bet my bottom dollar that LO will wake within an hour of me going off

The foam fairy is a grotesque large wall decor item as purchased by my mother and stuck to the wall by the nappy changer. Leila absolutely loves it and spends nappy changes and clothes changes laughing and poking it. She has instinctively turned towards it right from day one and I now havent the heart to take it off the wall.
So I might just get a few more and would highly recommend them!!!!angelfairy wrote: »okay, am i the only one how thought it was free to take a baby under 2 on a plane????

I said something along the lines of 'Somebody else  - I AM HIS MOTHER'
I think you are right though, they want to be the one who the baby wants to go to...and to be fair, in a couple of years it may well be that way :rotfl:he's 10 weeks old and was hungry so settled when he realised mummy was going to sit down and feed him!
I make a point of dropping what ever I'm doing and snatching my Chris off her if he's hurt thoughhe lgoes to her for enough as it is, I'm not having him prefer her all the time

mfd, my nan did a similar thing with my cousin, he as crying for his mum and she took him off up the other end of the garden... Poor baby ended up purple screaming before she had the sense to bring him back... She's also now obsessed wig how much he eats....
Am lying here trying to give Caitlyn a dream feed but she's not really doing it... And hubbys snoring is getting on my wick, might give up and go to sleep... No doubt she'll wake me in a couple of hours when she's hungry...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

hope your daughter has a great birthday! what is she getting?
i have a birthday on tuesday and luckily thats them until nov lol!
Loads of hair accessories, makeup, clothes, a couple of CD's and a party with her sisters, couple of girly friends and her father who totally adores her.Apparently her on/off boyfriend is off again because he kissed another girl. She's not acting heartbroken, so that's okay....I hope
That sounds rubbish doesn't it? But it's what she wanted and I think I have the right clothes she pointed out. I have the receipts if not. It doesn't sound like loads, but it cost a fair bit and she's never moaned before. I always worry too much, thinking what can I get a 15 yo  I should know as 16yo was once 15...obviously, but totally different girls.
Oh and my twins are 9 on Thursday, then nothing until....October :rotfl:
Hope whoever has their Birthday on Tuesday has a nice one and enjoy whatever you have plannedredmel1621 wrote: »You worked it out it in one of your later posts I see:D Tis right.....although you say money for nothing...not an easy job giving birth and broken sleep for months/years, if it was we wouldn't all be on here moaning to each other;)
Well, I hope this money comes to fruition. I'm a loving dad, but I now feel like I should have done this sooner and feel i've let them down  They need to make it known what can be claimed alot more easily.
I skipped giving birth:rotfl:, but still have the sleepness nights now. Before exams, first days at secondary school and no doubt now before work. When they go out I worry hopelessly  Maybe that money is deserved, so I can microchip them :rotfl:
angelfairy wrote: »MoTM = hope your daughter has a great day
I'll do my best to ensure it happens. She's the moody one of the lot though, so who knows :rotfl: Nah, she'll be happy, she just needs a hug more often than the others :cool:0 -

Present wrapping is done ....I hate it. I've already wrapped some Christmas presents, but left Birthday until the night before
She can have the presents if she can get through the tape
Bed time.
Night all, sorry could only scan posts tonight, but wish you all well:T0 -
oh that reminds me, I don't think tax credits did the discounting the first bit of my SMP when I claimed with Chris (over 2yrs ago) is it too late to attempt to get the money? (if it's owed, but from what I've seen I doubt they did it for me:rolleyes:) I could do with some pennies at the moment, car insurance is due next month and service is over due and MOT due in december
Anyone know how far in advance you can get MOT? I have 1 month in my mind but not sure :undecided I'd rather not fork out for it so close to Christmas, esp when we've got expensive holiday in JanI wish I'd realised all this ages ago!

Do you really want to get into all that? What if they get confused, work it out wrong and you end up owing it back? :cool:I could do with some pennies at the moment, car insurance is due next month and service is over due and MOT due in december
Look for car insurance on Quidco and find one which offers a reduced price service and free MOT (or are you particular about where you take it?). I got 10% off all services/repairs/parts and a free MOT with my Kwikfit insurance last yearAnyone know how far in advance you can get MOT? Yup, I think it's a month. It says something like "In order to maintain cover, you should present your vehicle for testing no earlier than [date]" on the certificate from last year0 -
I daren't do nappy free time with Rhys for that very reason! He had some much force behind him one day in the hospital, it shot out the inci and up the wall!
When my Mam had my brother, she had to stay in hospital for a week as that was the rule for c-sections then. There was a newly qualified Irish doctor who used strut about in his shiny new white coat, and he came to do some checks on my brother. He'd taken his nappy off to do that thing where they check the hips and then decided to do the heel !!!!! test. He'd just stabbed my brothers foot, when my brother let rip and shot poo right down the doctors white coat. It just went silent in the ward, then the doctor said "bejesus, I've scared the sh*te out of him" and carried on, and the whole ward was absolutely ill laughing :rotfl:oh and to top it all off someone has hit my car tonight in morrisons car park and didnt even leave their details, they have scrapped right up the back wheel arch and scrapped the bumper. i cried all the way home but OH doesnt seem to think its too bad:( why do people drive away esp when its my pride and joy?
Someone has done that to mine. They've dented the passenger door, then scraped along the back door and back wheel arch. It's an estimated £600 worth of damage, and they just drove off. I was working and didn't notice until I got home, so it could have happened in any one of three supermarket car parks.angelfairy wrote: »oh i have been meaning to ask as well ... any advice re changing bubs after a bath as mine gets sooooo stressy because i am not dressing her quick enough (well quick enough to get her hands back in her mouth at the minute)???
Charlotte didn't like being undressed when she was little. I used to keep her wrapped up in a towel, and then keep the towel across her chest while I put her nappy on, then cover her legs while I put her vest on and so on.Here I go again on my own....0 -

We do that too :rotfl:angelfairy wrote: »okay, am i the only one how thought it was free to take a baby under 2 on a plane????
I knew you had to pay a nominal fee. Babies on laps don't get an inflight meal and they don't get a luggage allowance either.mookiandco wrote: »My mum summed it up the other day when Leila wanted a cuddle from me. She said 'i'm so jealous that she wants just you'. I think it is hard for her to see me as a mummy and for her not to be the only one thats needed anymore.
My Mam creates "needs" so she can fill them. It gets on my nerves at times
We're all going on a picnic today and I've been told that I don't need to bring any food as my Mam is doing it all as she says I'm so busy and rushed off my feet to manage knocking up a quiche or a cake or something.
Parents are coming round tomorrow for the Sunderland match as we've Sky Sports, and because I'm working in the morning, she's insisting on bringing takeaway pizzas to save me cooking tea for everyone. I feel a bit awkward not providing the food in my own home but I'll not say anything to keep the peaceHubby is addicted to take away pizza so he's happy
Here I go again on my own....0 -
