Ambers two neighbours in special care were meth babies. Got their oralmeth before each feed and those poor wee things would wake up screaming and shaking! I never knew babies could shake but it looked like they were having fits and the way they cried... It was disgusting! And the mums sat there going on about how 'this wan wid'be different, I'll dae anyfing fur this wan'. Yeah... so what about the other 4 you have and the other 2 you have?:mad::mad: They both had severe diarhoeaa and infected nappy rash so had antibiotic creams and tons of other medication. If they cared so much why did they continue using when pregnant and make their babies addicts? Makes me so mad! Atleast the social workers were in every week, I doubt either baby is going home with mum....
this made me cry. I think I have a rather sheltered view of the world and I am thankful for thatHmm that was my concern - it's working at an oil company too! Prime terrorist blowing up territory! He said "I don't know if I could be away from you both for that long".. my reply was "Well we ain't coming with you, that's for certain!"
It's not as bad as some other Middle Eastern countries - if it were me I'd be out there like a shotr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

Thanks to all those responding to my query about how much 16yo should pay/save/spend per week.
I will sit down with her this evening or tomorrow and discuss it with her. I'm not sure holding onto anything she gives me is ideal. She will likely see that as me not being straight with her, one of her primary needs. I may suggest housekeeping, save herself and spend a little. I don't envisage any issues with her saving herself. 14yo (15 Sunday ) will be another matter next year. I don't envisage her being so keen to part with any earnings :rotfl:
Well, we made the cakes and the flour seemed to work a little, thanks chopsticks. Some still sank, but a few ended in the middle. Not bad for a first attempt under the new regime!
My 11yo went 'Daaaaad, look, the chocolate chips are not all at the bottom, that woman on the internet was right' so you have a fan chopsticks :rotfl:0 -

Catch ya later, bit of a late dinner tonight, but the younger girls are delighted as it means later to bed :rotfl:0 -
Sorry to hear about your dog Tia. Hope you can find a good home for him.
Collies can be nippy. When they're rounding up sheep, they nip their legs to force the sheep to go they way they want them too. Sometimes they forget we are not sheep.
I used to have a collie that I couldn't let off the lead if there were other people around as his hearding instinct was too strong, and he tried to round up other people and dogs that we saw on the field
Had a good day. Went to the park and Charlotte and my neice enjoyed feeding the ducks and swans. They're dead friendly and some will take bread out of your hands. Charlotte told one swan off because he didn't say thank youHere I go again on my own....0
