Do you think it's cruel that at 20 months I refuse to make El another meal if she refuses to eat what I give her. She didn't even try it tonite she just screwed her face up at it. Ileft it there for 1/2 an hour but she just sat playing with it?
No it's not cruel. The only times I've ever done something else if it's something she finds difficult to physically eat (she used to struggle with things like leeks, spring onions and cucumber) or if the food's gone wrong and might not be very nice (e.g. I've over done the chilli). I also gave her something else when she got chilli in her eye.

I think it is exactly the right thing to do:D
I have never made a second dinner for my kids EVER...Sometimes, when they were younger mealtimes became a bit of a battle, but I didn't care;) They now eat everything given to them:D

Woo hoo...I just expressed a massive 4oz off one side!!!! I know that's not much compared to some of you mummy milk machines but it's loads for me.

Now on to the right side. My right side never produces as much (I think it's as a result of having the mastitis twice) but I'll be happy with 2oz off that side.

((hugs)) tia, it sounds like you are doing the right thing though. OH's parents refused to get rid of their dog when he went for DSD many years ago, they still have him now, but i get so paranoid around it, especially with seth.

those nightie things look weird for a boy to me :p would have been a good thing to have back when he still had night time nappy changes though!
