  • Just watched benefit busters and missed the update at the end - anyone remember what the text said?

Think it said 4 out of the 5 were still working in poundland.

Krystal I'm sure I've got the same wallpaper as you! What colour are the flowers?
I'm assuming you mean the bedroom because we only have 1 wall with paper on in the whole house and I love it!!! The flowers are black... Hubby did it while I was pregnant and for a while the bedroom was my calming place to go for a lie down... Now it resembles a chinese laundry with a bed in the middle...

Button - I had the implant in for 5 months and it made my boobs huge! This was following a breast reduction from a 32H to a 32DD - Ended up a 32F (wasn't very happy!!)

Anyway, the nurse that put it on, took it out on her own - no problem whatsoever.

Did you know you can go to any family planning clinic to have it taken out?

It's a good idea with the savings for her. I'm trying to imagine what she'd say when she found out. Delight or disappointment that she thought she was helping out, but wasn't. Her pride may be hurt :o
You could always save a proportion of what she contributes so that she has been helping out but still gets something back?

That's why I thought it was odd... It would make more sense to me if the nursery just boiled the kettle and made up the milk themselves as and when. But one of the others we visited wanted you to bring in your own water too... very odd.

My friend was telling me that the nursery she sends her son to isn't allowed to 'make-up' feeds or food for her LO. She has to provide ready made cartons of formula and jars of food  something to do with health and safety and what they'll accept responsibility for.
That's good news. Why not ask her for a certain amount a month, then she can put it aside each week, and put more aside in the weeks she earns more? If you don't want the money yourself you could always put it away in a savings account without her knowing, then she can have it back when she needs money for a deposit when she moves out, or whatever?

what she says - if you can afford it, when she's older that might mean that there is enough for the deposit on a rental in an account. She doesn't have to know that's what you are doing with it ;) Otherwise, what about asking her to do certain chores to pay her way (although you already sound like your girls have things pretty well covered :D)

    had a 2nd reduction 5 months later!

Now have lovely smallish pert boobies although no idea how long they will stay like this ;) In 3 weeks, I will have my baby and find out if I can breastfeed - then I can join you all over here permanently instead of just lurking!!!!

Right, we've talked about the Saudi job and he's going to find out more on Monday.

There is a good chance it could lead to more similar jobs which would be very good for paying the debt (and subsequently speeding up the recovery of his credit rating for a mortgage in 6ish years time to have a bigger house, which was the grand plan).

Still apprehensive about the area, although I'm sure there are thousands of people who go out there for work all the time

I've known a lot of people who've worked out there. We looked into it, but the climate didn't suit me! If I didn't hate the heat so much, we'd probably be out there now!
