    Today just isn't my day!

Just made a tuna salad as I haven't eaten today, was chowing down and there is a hair in my mouth.....I HATE HAIRS NEAR/ON FOOD, to make it worse it was cat hairs, and then I lifted a piece of lettuce and there was a big clump of that effing kittens fur, don't know how but he never leaves the kitchen when your making food and it annoys the hell out of me, so he obviously jumped up to nick food when I wasnt looking.

What a waste of food, that went straight in the bin. Feel like being sick. I'm reliving the hair trauma.

    Hi Everyone,

Tia - ((((hugs))) such a hard decision to make, but it sounds like the right one.

Scruffy - you made the right choice, I don't like making different for DD, if it something I'm not sure she'll eat I just up the veg content on the rest of her plate and mix it up.

SM - good luck with your sister.

Had such a busy week getting Katie to a childminder and me to work 4 days this week - I have a new found respect mums that do it every day - My mum needs some spoiling I think.

The childminder took DD out everyday to a different soft play place and her usual toddler group. What was odd though was that DD at the new places had precisely one wet accident then was fine!

My conclusion - new place, different person who can't interpret her signals quite as well.

DD has flaked out again tonight after a busy day with Daddy and long walk/run after tea with the dog - it was a gorgeous evening far to nice too stay in.

My right breast is killing me! And my nipples feel all sore and I want nipple shields like now! Or a bath but DH isn't home yet.

Amber is not settling tonight, hopefully we can make it till 11.30 and she can have the 3oz in the fridge. Gave her it at this time last night and she was up every 2 hours for a feed during the night.

Scruffy, DS2 can be like that. Some nights he refuses his dinner and he gets nothing else. Usually eats all his breakfast the next day :D

I hate hairs on food too...I was feeding Kai today and noticed he was just about to chomp down some hair, it must have been on the bottom of the spoon. To be honest this house is full of hair everywhere...either Cat hair, dog hair, or my flaming hair (yes I am malting too!!)

My nipple shields have been one of my best purchases. I would have given up BF if I didn't have them, they helped with the pain so much.

The only issue now that the pain has gone is that LO can't find my nipple without them, so I have to use them all the time. I've tried re-training her to latch on without them but she's not having any of it. It's a bit of a faff having to sterilise them each time (especially when she knocks them flying with a stray arm as she's about to latch on ) but I'd rather carry on using them and be able to BF for a little bit longer.

What is the average age for babies to start rolling? Caitlin quite often is half up on her side and grunting away to herself as though she's trying to muster up the energy to flip herself over. However, as she's not even 8 weeks yet, I think she'll have quite a few weeks to wait until she's got the strength to do it :D

There is a CSA board here if you do wish to pursue it at any point. I believe the rules about how much of the maintenance you would be allowed to keep if you're on benefits may be changing.

The only benefit we get is Child Benefit which I was told is not means tested?

I won't be claiming anyway, but if I was forced too, then it's good to know all the details.

*collapses* I need to be less anal, I didn't feel I could reply without reading everything but it was about ten million pages! (to demonstrate two pages got added while I was reading!) Consequently I'm too shattered and confused to reply with anything meaningful (what do you mean no change there then!) so I'll just wave and smile and say hello *waves* *beams* Hello!

Oh, and Celia can walk :-)
