Button - you know you can buy the McD toys without the meal right? If she won't eat the meal and only the chips it might work out cheaper to buy the toy and a portion of chips :)
Don't worry too much about her teeth :) If you needed braces then should she end up needing them too it'll probably be because of that and nothing you have done about her dummy etc :)
I had to have braces too (the ones that sit on the inside of your teeth and are attached to your back molars) and I hated it too because I used to stick a spoon up under it and "Doioioioioing" it IYKWIM ;) Once it nearly got stuck so I didn't do it gain  It was to help turn my "fangs" as they were nearly 90 degrees off - it's a family trait :)

That was what I was going to say, and more...
Money saving idea- I dont know if I am being inventive but I have found a love of thermos flasks! I have a 1l thermos, and once the kettle has boiled I fill it so that I dont have to reboil the water. it also helps when out and about.

Also I have found since bella has been on formula only, I need to top her up with around 1-2floz of chilled boiled water (contradiction in terms!). Otherwise she gets constipated, is this the same for anyone else? As a result I chill a 500ml bottle of boiled water and pour out what I need.

Braces..... my mum had sticky out teeth due to sucking her tumb... she wouldnt allow me to suck my thumb and so I ended up with sticky in teeth and needed braces any way lol.

Ladybird, you were asking about stairgates?

We have the kiddyguard roller ones, and I love them. There is a knack to opening them, but I can do it one handed (eventually!)

Have a look at posts 216 and 217 on this thread for photos:

    Twas me and ladybird :D
Oh my lord you have stolen my stairs

And as my hubby pointed out last night, they do have a big post...but in my defence it is in the wrong place for a stairgate IYSWIM.

Will show those to hubby later.

Do you think that they would withstand a toddler throwing themselves at them?

Edit: LOL I just had a peek at that old PT and there were about 15 posts a day!!! We are on page 5 today already!!!

Okay, daft question coming up.. is there are particular way you're supposed to do "cool boiled water"?

I do it this way -

however, if I need it quicker than that I then stand the bottle/beaker in a jug of cold water.

I tend to boil the kettle then fill 2-3 bottles with the water at a time and always fill her cup at the same time (it's quicker to heat up then cool down - again stand in a jug of hot water). However, when we are going out and about I always put one bottle with the newly boiled water in my thermal pocket of my bag. It's usually the perfect temperature by the time we need it.

ETA - my little tinker will happily drink cold milk while out and about but not at home - then it's got to be at least a little bit warm.

Well suprisingly she ate one whole fish finger, all of her chips and all of her pure OJ, how healthy.....lol. I asked her if she wanted an ice cream and she said no, she wanted a doughnut  So I got her one.

It started raining on the way back so I got "PICK ME UP, I'M COLD" and so I was humphing her to the bus stop and she's rubbing it in saying, Ooooh I'm so nice and cosy. MEAN! Also, the buses are on strike for the next 2hrs and I didn't know:o but some out of service bus stopped for me and let us on for free, probably because I had Keira but hey ho!

It's alright Sami, I've read that some mouths fix themselves once the dummy has been removed, and if not, at least they are all straight and white....even though there is a big oval in the middle. I think it's quite common though, as a lot of kids are thumb suckers/dummy fiends.

    Live and learn :D

those are the stairgates one of the families I nannied for used to have. They withstood a very boistorous toddler flinging herself at them (she was one of teh reasons I decided not to babysit after I stopped working for them;)) Although I couldn never get them to open!!! They were nanny proof.

Sorry MFD - who did you say does all the talking????:rotfl::rotfl:
