Keely - I usually jump on here at stupid o clock in the morning (5am) to catch up, by which point everything has been answered but I just ramble on anyway about not very much at all! You should come and chat more often, I know if Im having a bad day everyone here will cheer me up and help out a little .......... makes for being a mummy on maternity leave a little less lonely (((hugs)))

Elle - I think the best balls are from ELC - more expensive but much better quality and you said more robust the better ;)
I think go for whatever works for you bedtime wise, the thing is Ryhs will change his routine anyway I should imagine and actually want to go to bed at an earlier bedtime as long as your all happy thats what matters.
As for OH, try not to worry Im sure he wouldnt take it on of he didnt think he could handle it  My OH and I have lots of courses coming up over the next year and we are going to be really under pressure but we know it wont be forever and will be worth it in the end as its to better ourselves for us and the children! Hugs for you and treat your OH to a nice massage or lovely meal (when you get the time)

Feelie, well done on achieving your goal! You must be really proud of yourself x

Since when? Last time I went with her, maybe 2/3months ago, it was covered in salt (not to forget the grease!) I prefer Burger king, more expensive but tastes better, but it's only maccy d's near the bank. I don't even know why I buy her a happy meal, as she eats half the chips, drinks the drink, and takes the toy, leaves everything else!

Recently-ish, I think. Oh, here we are:
We have recently reduced the salt on our fries by an average of 23% per serving.

Would Keira eat more if she picks the other options - fruit bags and fishfingers, anyone? Or does that just take away the fun of a Happy Meal? :confused:http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/food/happy-meal/happy-meal.mcdj

I didn't even know they did fishy things in the kids menu, she won't take the fruit bag because you have to swap your fries for that, and that's what she likes best, the rest of the meal is irrelevant to her! She doesn't even like milkshake.....she's mighty odd!

I think a heavier weight cotton or linen is best, but leave it with me and I'll look it up for you :-)

Oh sweerheart *hugs* I've got to go give Celia lunch but I'm only a pm away if you want to talk. I do second going to your gp, they put me on fluxoetine and it really helped me just to cope with day to day stuff. A good gp will prescribe it hand in hand with counselling as well (which you can do on it's own if you prefer), your problems will still be there correct but how you deal with them and how much it effects you can be eased with meds and/or counselling.

Bitesize shredded wheat or weetabix softened with milk, crumpets, fruit, I have recipes for wakey wakey cakey and porridge pancakes somewhere (nicked from babyledweaning.com!) if you want :-)

Thanks to those who have mentioned going to my gp and everything, but I really don't want to go down medication route. I've seen the effect it had my on my sister and it wasn't nice. Maybe to the counselling :o

Crumpets! I hadn't thought to give them to Elliot before, wonder if he'd like them?

Currently got my nieghbours screaming and shouting, i'm so fed up if this now.

New day and I'm still annoyed at myself about Keira's teeth! I just wonder if it's more awkward to eat if your front teeth don't touch? I'll be punishing myself about this for ages and If her adult teeth come in bad, then that'll be it!

I sent off a message to Toothsmith, so hopefully he can ease my worries! It's no big deal right now I guess, but when she smiles it kinda looks like she is gurning or clenching her jaw with the way the fangs sit on top of each other.

Just doing my hair then we are off to the bank and I said I'd take her to Mcdonalds for lunch. I blow every chip she eats because of the salt lol, blow blow the salt awaaaaaay
kids who've had a dummy too long ten to have a oval shaped hole when they smile which doesn't sound like what Keira has, Chris has wonky teeth but the dentist told me that the way they were was just unlucky and not caused by the dummy

They don't put salt on anymore.. they're not the same :(
Only some maccy's don't put any on, mine is one that puts a bit on but one in next town doesn't use any.

Button, Chris will only eat fish finger happy meal, he used to eat nuggets when smaller but not now and won't touch a burger he looks at it like I've just handed him a poop sandwich :rotfl: obviously I hardly ever give him maccy's because its not good for him :A:whistle:

although he much prefers a salad (strange child!) I had one yesterday, I'd forgotten how nice they are

I've just been looking for discount codes for ELC (found a 20% off one) and thought I'd remind everyone they have a Birthday Club to sign up for: http://www.elc.co.uk/birthdayclub :)

your GP will be able to refer you for counselling :)

Chris likes lots of breakfasty things; crumpets, pikelets, pancakes, english muffins, welshcakes, croissants, potato cakes, teacakes, cinnamon raisin loaf.
He loves proper cereal now we've just got kelloggs optivita its got dried strawberries and blueberries with oaty flakes he loves it and it turns the milk PINK:D

I think you said you've reported neighbours is that right? if not then call council/environmental health. Do you own the house (therefore sort of stuck) or are you renting so could maybe escape?

    Thank You

The information I have found so far is that cotton is best, don't use tihngs like polyester....
I have seen a few lovely pieces but not sure which one to go for as they all look different weight/gauges to me?

We live in a ground floor apartment, we own our flat but the neighbours upstairs are renting. I've reported her to the police for her threatening behavour towards me and things she's done ie threw my wheely bin across the road in a mood, approached me and shouted/swore while i was holding elliot so i felt intimated etc. She came home the one night by herself (minus kids) to deliberatly stamp on the floor- the ceiling above my sons room to wake him up... all because she'd left her massive double buggy in the communal hallway and i couldnt get past so had to move it across a bit. She said i deserved it, that i had endangered her sons life!! Just some stupid things i have to put up with.

As for her shouting, swearing and stomping, slamming doors etc, the environmental health just basically laughed at us and said you live in a flat, expect noise!

So we've had to also complain to the management company, theyre trying to track down the owner of the flat.

I'm doing all i can, sensibly, without making things worse. I will not stoop to her low level and shout back and play silly games. Smiling at her and being polite seems to make her angrier though!

We can't move because of the money/recession etc. Crap time to want to sell up really! :o

oh she sounds just deee-lightful! no wonder you're stressed out by it.
Only other thing I can think of is to track down the owner yourself (if management company are being slow as they usually are) you can search on the land registry to find out, it costs about £1.50 I think - I did it because our next door neighbour just disappeared and never came back and we heard a rumour he'd sold it to the pub next door to him so we were panicking that we would be getting loads of noise until 2am:eek:
