I know there is probably an answer out there, but I can't find it....

How can I clean a blush pink/rose beige suede handbag?

Can I wash it? It is mainly the handles that are grubby.....

Thanks Pink - I did have a quick look there, but couldn't see anything to help with a bag. Will have another read :)

  • Try leather cleaner and a stiff brush it has worked for me. Be careful not to overwet it though.

  • My grand-daughter,(a self confessed shoe junkie)came home with a beautiful but vey expensive pair of turquoise blue suede shoes.
I know these are for going out only but they're going to need some sort of protection on them.
Can anyone give me some ideas as what I should be treating them with, preferably something that won't change the colour at all.
    Thankyou.
  • Used to spray all my suede boots with hairspray before going out at the advice of my Mum.
Not sure if it'll change the colour though? Mine were always black

I have suede jacket that I haven't worn for ages and it smells a bit musty.
Is there any way of cleaning it / getting rid of the smell without getting it dry cleaned?
