Hi,
Many people have posted to say that dry cleaning is not only expensive, but not necessarily very effective and can even leave you worse off.
I don't actually know the answer to this one - but while you wait for someone to help - browsing this list of threads may come up trumps:-

Hi Rikki, dry cleaning suede is expensive, as most places send the garment away to be done.
Also, depending upon the quality of the hide it can sometimes lose it's nap and go hard.
You could try ringing round for an idea of price, personally, I would only trust something like that to a bigger company Johnsons for example.
You may decide that it's not that badly marked after all.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

hi. I have suede shoes (black) and unfortantely they have severe mould on them. I am going to try mild soapy water as advised by a shoe shop. If anyone has had the similar problem I would appreciate any hints/tips. Thanks. I will try and report back on how it went.Making my money go further with MSE :j
How much can I save in 2012 challenge

Ok, absolute nightmare and I have NO idea how this happened
My OH bought me a pair of Ugg boots for christmas, very lovely, light brown suede.
I was wearing them in the house to get used to them (and keep my wee feet warm) and when prepping the goose for dinner I *think* I may have got a little goose fat on them :eek::eek:(no idea how-it was raw solid fat I was pulling out of the cavity, but maybe my fingers melted it) the other thing is it could be water but after an hour the stain is still obvious on the suede (I had already sprayed with protector spray)
Is there any way to save them, obviously cannot use fairy liquid or bio powder which is how I usually get rid of grease.
Please help, I cannot believe I had them less than 2 hours before I broke them0 -
I've read somewhere about putting talc on grease marks?0
