Great news on the report...we all knew were not a fussy old bag...
Sorry to hear that you've been on flood alert...
Think you are right about having a think about stuff before taking any action.0 -
Great news about the report...take your time & make sure you get a 2nd opinion on what it says.....I know you will anyway.
Hope all is good in piggie towers ....sorry but not had chance to read back over last few weeks as `real life` has sort of overtaken me a bit......well it beats overwhelming me so that must be progress. LOL
Have a great week Hun.

An early good morning Wol, and thanks for your kind words earlier - will raise a glass or six to you all on Rave Day, if I am not working, that is!
Fabulous news about the surveyor's report - can see the headlines now, "Fussy Old Bag fights back!"
Regards to all the mini hogs, and make sure you look after you.One life - your life - live it!0 -
Did I hear you say fussy old bag Wol? You're not fussy, just particular which is totally different.
I thought about you on Saturday as I was surrounded by totty and lots of it was hot and sweaty:eek: I went to Blenheim Palace to convert my day ticket into a free annual pass (very MSE) but turned up in the middle of their triathlon. Hence all the totty - had to listen to some of them whinging afterwards when they were eating with their families - one chap moaned that he swallowed some lake water and was bumped by another competitor to which his wife turned round and said "but you do insist on entering these triathlons instead of doing work on the house":rotfl:
I had an adventure last Thursday - I went to Swindon, stupidly followed the Streetmap directions which had me off the motorway at the wrong junction:mad: then the silly map made me miss a turn so I had to try and get back on myself and then I got lost some more - so I thought that I had kind of gotten back on the right road (I had according to the nice man in the lawnmower shop) and then I came to islands..loads of them and got myself totally lost to the point that I had to call the photographer and ask him to come and find me:o I ended up parking on double yellow lines but put my hazards on and opened my bonnet and stood there waggling bits and scratching my head until he turned up in his silver landrover when miraculously the car started again and I was able to drive away:rotfl: The photoshoot went really well and I had the help of the model's mother and the photographer's wife.
Had to go to the spa today for some waxing and then I spent all my LVs in Waitrose and stocked up with nice things that I wouldnt normally buy (e.g. rose veal and posh biccies).
S'pose I had better do some work:( sending wheeks to the piggies and Wol, have a small slurp of wine, a hot bath, and a general loll about.0 -
Adventures in Swindon, hey, Horace - I like the idea of opening the bonnet and twitching bits of things around inside the bonnet
I shall have to remember that.
Wol, Wol - I'm glad you have the surveyor's report and it vindicates you, and I can actually understand that knocking you for six - you've had to spend so much energy on this issue for the last couple of years, and now it looks like its reaching the end of the worst of the struggle - step back a bit, reassess, take some time, get your sleep pattern back to nighttime - upside down sleep really does feel carp .... you'll be fine, honestly.
Hot bath and wheeks, yep, I second that recommendation :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Horace - hot sweaty totty? Grotty! One life - your life - live it!0
