I didn't realise Numpty meant his adopted garden! Looking forward to seeing it - and if I suddenly move *before* the rave, I'll see it before then - once I move, I'm determined to do what I used to do in my 20s and 30s, I work during the week - hard - and the weekend is for days out. A rover ticket on the metrobus mid-Sussex system, and I'll be off all over the place :D

Erm, just realised how that might sound intrusive - its okay, I won't push my nose in *too* much :o:o:o

Not intrusive at all KC :D

You will be my nearest neighour and I'm really looking forward to welcoming you into the locality....you can turn up anytime as long as you dom;t mind the "state" of current house condition ;)

Wish I could make it to the rave, but it is too close to our main holiday so finances will not permit it. I also think my OH, dear chap that he is, would be a bit peeved if I swanned off to the other end of the country to meet with a bunch of strangers (even though I count all the fab peeps on here as friends....although come to think of it there is often none stranger than some of the characters on here!) I am sure I will hear the music and the shenanigans loud and clear from where I am by the sounds of it!

Oh Nargle I am sorry to hear you won;t be able to make it as I (and I'm sure other DFW;s) would have liked to meet you :( (and actually give you a BIG HUG!!)

First thing is OH's and kids are invited - this will be/is a Family affair :D

Unfortunately unless you;re prepared to [STRIKE]stay[/STRIKE] rough it in Piggie palace (or in a tent on the lawn) , accommodation will be in the local hotels which I know will add expense to the budget...and I am "a long way to come" for you :(

Whatever/however it works out - we will deffo be raising a few glasses to you lovely Nargle, in honour of absent friends as well as gratitude or your help and support :T:T#

Damn - I was hoping you would be able to supply the "morning after breakfast eggs" for the hoards :rotfl::rotfl:

OK - I have the surveyors report - it's good - actually it's very good - and the bill was half what I expected :T......but now I feel like I have an unexploded bomb in my hand :eek:

Will take some time to process this......basically my builders were "not competent" and the previous Surveyor "didn;t spot it" ..can not say any more by way of explanation as this will be going to court...but it's pretty explosive and most importantly I AM VINIDCATED

i.e. I am NOT a fussy old bag - i called it completely RIGHT - they were [STRIKE]a bunch of Cowboys :mad::mad:[/STRIKE] not competent

Last 24 hour been on flood alert expecting flash floods and completely bricking it - all guineas now inside and on first floor.....completely irrational....:o

Quite frankly feel like I;m going bonkers atm...sleeping during the day; not organised; and completely petrified at the implications of this surveyors report I have in my hand ....yes I am now totally vindicated - but what to do now?

    Hmmmmmmmm...Need to think....

Good news I feel better enough to start making lists :T:T
