Bad news re Ginger - he is OK but his wound isn;t. (and neither is "Nice Vet".... who is currently having nevous breakdown and vowed tdoay never ever to do an op on my piggies again :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Vet has given up on Ginger after he blew apart the last surgery :rotfl::rotfl: - G now has a completely open wound without any irritating stitches....so currenly being treated with steroid and antibacterial creams

Taxi, Wol and Rest do not actually sit together very well in the same sentence. I doubt she knows how to spell it, let alone do it. LOL

And that is meant in the nicest possible way Wol x x x x x

Good morning Wol, sorry about Ginger's problem with his wound. As we know, all wounds will eventually heal of their own accord, but it can take a long time and I am sure trying to keep things clean and fairly hygienic is a challenge when your patient is a rampantly-hormonal male guinea pig!

Wish I could make it to the rave, but it is too close to our main holiday so finances will not permit it. I also think my OH, dear chap that he is, would be a bit peeved if I swanned off to the other end of the country to meet with a bunch of strangers (even though I count all the fab peeps on here as friends....although come to think of it there is often none stranger than some of the characters on here!) I am sure I will hear the music and the shenanigans loud and clear from where I am by the sounds of it!

Aargh, the troubles that Ginger gives you! I hope he pulls through this ..... LT, I wonder if someone's passing you on their way to the Rave? Or do you not want to get your hopes up? I understand that, I truly do.

I love what Smashed said, about "rest" and "Wol" not sitting together - so true :):):) I, on the other hand, am physically a lazy cow, no two ways about it :D

Poor Ginger - he shouldnt be so wriggly.

Wol and rest don't go together at all...although they should.

Am looking to see when I can come down for a visit - I am at the eye hospital on 28 July so will have to wait and see because it would be great to visit for a few days to visit Brighton etc.

Will have to ring you Wol - anyway this is a quick dip in as I need to do a bit of work instead of procrastinating about it, I want to clear out the front bedroom in the hope that the futon is still in the charity shop or do I get the actual bed with the new mattress? because I need somewhere for friends to kip if they stay over.

    Hi KC

Thanks for popping in this afternoon - it was lovely to see you - sorry I was a bit zoned out today :o

I forgot to mention that in addition to the Monbretia/Alchemillia and Lysmachia perennials I can pot up for you, I am also growing hollyhocks from seed this year (surruptitiously harvested from a National Trust garden I visited last year ;)). OOh also can pot up some of my oregano/marjoram; provide some aquilegia seedlings and some forget-me-nots - a.k.a. cottage garden stuff to provide a bit of colour amidst the yummy veggies you are planning to grow.

So be warned - I will be making a delivery of a boot load of various plants to you once you are "in residence" in HH :T:T

Will give you a bell this week when i am more compos mentis ;)
