Wol - please don't rub it in about warm days..I am feeling pretty carp as I have laryngitis (self diagnosed) and I cannot speak today so I am praying that the phone doesnt ring. Even had to resort to buying my shopping online at Sainsbury's (I don't really like Sainsburys but they are the only ones who could deliver tomorrow) - I have very little to eat - 1 dry crust, a lump of cheese and perhaps some soup and that's it.

I still havent unpacked my suitcase - I feel so rubbish.

As for trout you can keep it - I'll have the :spam: mignt not be driving to your bash so may need floor space.

Ahh Horace my friend - these airplane fights are a complete cess pit of viruses.......I have always picked up a horrible lurgy after being on an aeroplane :(

Sorry to hear you have been laid low with a Canarian lurgy :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

As for the floor space - trout-free section duly booked ;)

Hope you start to feel better soon

    xxxx

Hopefully the eshop will arrive tomorrw otherwise i will drive up with a rescue package

Wol, can't you use gluten free pasta? Its got rice and maize in it? I discovered Asda's recently - its the same price as Tesco's gluten free, but its organic as well.

Am feeling a little better today - I ventured outside of my flat but only went as far as the postbox to collect my post, I have even washed up:eek: The eshop should arrive between 1-2pm today and I forgot to order in some loo rolls (just as well I have plenty of newspaper:rotfl:). At least the trotskis have gone:D

Am feeling a little despondent today because I have had some bad news - Pash whom 4N were raising money for last month passed away on Friday not long after getting married in her hospital bed..she was 35 - she never did get to take that holiday that we were raising money for. I still feel a little sad even though I never met her but came to know her through her blog and tweets - does that sound a little mad?

I hope that when I visit the riverbank that I won't get chomped by Beechie or weed on either:eek:

Just remembered, I had a surprise today a free packet of seeds from Lakeland so now I can grow more mixed lettuce leaves in my windowbox.

:rotfl::rotfl:It did seem rather apt - because at that time i had just discovered via the exclusion diet that my only source of [STRIKE]comfort food[/STRIKE] carbs from now on is potatoes...........:rotfl::rotfl:

.....and let's face it gals, when the !!!!! hits the fan - we all need carbs...(oooh and top totty even if only visual :rotfl::rotfl:)

I think we should all go on JD diet...:D Johnny Depp that is

    Bagsy him today:D

Hopefully he won't be "hung like a baby carrot and a couple of petits pois.":D

I would say other things but would be banned for Lewd content;)

I did pop in for a bit of innuendo;) :rotfl:

    Hi Wol (and hi all)

Hope you have managed to chill out this weekend. I have had four days off and have used them very wisely to 'think' about decorating. I haven't actually done any decorating of course, just spent a lot of time considering and [STRIKE]faffing[/STRIKE] researching online. So far kitchen has been being considered for about 3years. I will get the kitchen and bathroom done this year (realistic target is probably 6months at my speed :rotfl:).

Thanks for the great Sainsburys wine offer tip. Methinks a trip to the nearest Sainsburys is in order. Best get an extra case to save to bring down to the rave (and then hide it from myself).

    Take care.

Well done on the research taxi.

I was feeling slightly better yesterday but today I still have the cough but now have a streaming cold and my teeth feel as though they belong to someone else:eek: Methinks I shall have to make an appointment at the quacks tomorrow...dunno what they will say or what they will give me because I am allergic to antibiotics:eek: I hate feeling like cack:mad:

Fell asleep on the sofa whilst watching countryfile - so missed the end of that and the beginning of antiques roadshow.

Did cook some dinner though - boiled beef and carrots using the leftover gravy from the last brisket joint that I froze, served it with some yorkies and roast tatties...followed by a bunch of grapes.

Have spent part of this evening playing bejewelled blitz and treasure mania on facebook..sad I know:D

You sound like me... I've been planning to do up my bathroom for the entire length of the MFiT challenge! It ends next month after 3 years! I finally have the pennies to do it (ermmmm... hopefully enough anyway) as of a couple of months ago, but I'm now to scared of getting it wrong to actually do anything! :o :rotfl: It also doesn't help that I still have lots of residual fear about having people in my flat after being really unwell a while ago. Total number of people who have set foot in my flat in the past 4.5 yrs = ~8 I think! :(

Operation blitz flat in preparation starts... urmmm as soon as my boss reappears and I can ask for a week off work. :rotfl: Next week would be nice... :p
    Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
