Taxi (((hugs)) sorry to hear that. I hope he had a long and happy life and that you can remind yourself of the good times you had with him. Still it doesn't stop the pain of losing them. Thinking of you.

Thanks Wol..that was a lovely poem that you posted on my diary xxxx

Thanks everyone else as well.He had 17 long wondeful years and it was time to go.We found him on our doorstep ..he was a 5 1/2 month old pup in a very sorry starved state and we have had him all those years. The night we found him we had to take him to the vet as he was so ill ..the vet gave him an injection and some medication and said don't be surprised if he doesn't make it through the night....he lived another 16 1/2 years. He survived cancer 8 years ago..proper little fighter....the last 3 months he has had steroid injections and anti inflammatories for his arthritis the last lot being friday but he went downhill and ended up not being able to stand yesterday and was bringing up blood by the time the vet came his breathing was bad.So it was for the best...bless him.
He's playing with all the other doggies now over rainbow bridge.

Taxi - sorry about dog. As Horace said, though, he obviously had a good life with you and your family, and a peaceful end, which is what we all would wish for.

Wol - how's tricks? Business booming, I hope, but remember to chill out regularly and remind yourself that if you don't look after yourself first then you will be neither use nor ornament to anyone else!

    Hi Nargle

:rotfl::rotfl:I think I will have to be careful how I answer the first question or I'll have BOB back on this thread making subtle innuendos again about my "clients" :rotfl::rotfl:

Yep business is certainly booming..and issues with some of the clients are resolving nicely :D..and at least it means that by end of April there will be a substantial amount of cash in the bank :T. The good news is that I now have four consecutive days without having to attend any client meetings :T:T.........but I have a lot of writing up to do :(. Nevertheless I have definitely earmarked at least two days out of the next four to just chill and potter ..and iron :o...and tonight I am having a glass of wine and winding down ready for an early night :). Despite being so busy and feeling completely caught in a whirlwind, I have nevertheless got all piggies cleaned out ready for the weekend and feel (surprisingly) relatively chilled even though the house needs a lot of decluttering. If it;s sunny this weekend I will definitely make the first attempt to start clearing up the garden etc which hasn;t been touched since last October :o....and if near neighbour Lula is already out on her allotment then I really should make an effort to at least take down last years hanging baskets

Hope the chickies are enjoying the heatwave and laying more- I went to Chatham today and it was 17degrees :eek:..(read and weep Horace :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) .although here it was only 14 and is now plummeting back to about 6 :(
