Edit: May as well add insult to injury and get it all out of the way in one go :rotfl:- Just chased up Ombudsman adjudicator and they are STILL waiting for response to their questions from insurance company - cannot provide any estimated date for a decision :(

I hope you've reminded them that they are now *way* out of time, and you want an explanation from them. Not excuses.

Nope - I laughed and said "I guess the insurers had to refer to the loss adjuster to answer your questions and are still waiting for a response - guess nothing changes then " ...:rotfl::rotfl:

Adjudicator said she didn;t want to hurry up the insurers as otherwise she might not get a complete answer and anyway communication with third parties and obtaining/locating files could take time.(don;t forget she is and has to be seen to be impartial in this)

But I figure the longer the insurers and their agents delay in responding to the adjudicators questions, , the more evidence/support for my complaint which after all is about their "complete inability to progress the claim in a timely efficient manner with due care and diligence" :D

The words "shoot", "yourself" and "foot" come to mind ;)

Sorry to hear that your having a hard time with all your insurance companies.as you say they'll try anything to get out of paying.
I can't see any reason why your Dr won't prescribe the hormone patches on the NHS (unless they are real special ones). My DR is always offering them to me but not sure I want to go down that route yet.I can't blame you taking the insurance people through the process but you shouldn't have to.They should pay up as there t&cs ...the skinflints.
RE the house insurance..foot and mouth certainly springs to mind...cheeky begggars.
Nice to see your works nearly done so that you can have a nice relaxing deserved Easter break.

    Hi gang

I am feeling loads better this evening..I suddenly felt the urge to go out today (only as far as the corner shop which is about 3 corners away from me:D) and spent my time sneezing all over the shop, had to go back in for loo rolls and got 6 dixcel ones for the price of 4:cool: Was thoroughly exhausted when I came home so I slobbed on the sofa in front of the telly and slept on and off..this evening the tap has stopped running, the mouth ulcers are dissipating and the cough is now feeble:j Why does my body suddenly decide to go out and share the lurgy before it starts to feel better? It is always the same..I am ill for a few days and then feel the sudden need to go out and then the same day after I have sneezed over everyone, the lurgy starts to go? (confused). I did take a clarityn tablet earlier too - I adore vicks vapour rub and will rub it liberally on my chest:eek:

On a good note, I can now pay my invoices as the bank have sent me a new cheque book (my accountant had the last book and doesnt know where it is..I didnt have it back - so I shall now have to call the bank and cancel the remaining cheques..sigh).

Received my grow your own pack from the RHS today - containing a book mark, a packet of carrot seeds, a packet of tomato seeds, 2 double sided recipe cards, details about container gardening and a wall chart...not bad for a freemans:cool:

Insurance companies suck Wol..I need to sort some insurance out to cover me but as yet I havent because I am wondering if there is a point or not??

Tangerine Dream..does it every time for me - I take one CD with me when I go into hospital and that is Ricochet and I can listen to that over and over again and I can become really relaxed.

Great to hear you;re feeling better Hun :T:T

Infectious stage is normally before symptoms start (despite what the ads say) although yes, there are lesser lurgy particles available for others when you sneeze well into the illness - (unless of course you have another one on top which sounds possible in view of the sneezing today? #

Piggies are very interested in your carrot seed :D

Ref insurance companies - not cheap but business cover brill and apparently their customer service is legendary- Hiscox....I am with them for professional indeminity business stuff (and would have taken out their house insurance and paid the extra premium - but they wouldn;t cover me because of the flood risk :()

I think you will need professional indemnity and public liability because of what you do - but ring them up and ask for a quote. (Unfortunately they;re not on Quidco :rotfl::rotfl:)
