Nicki, I don't know that much about it, but 6lb 3oz sounds like quite a healthy weight for that point. I'm hoping I can have an elective c-section, because I found it really quite traumatic last time, so I totally understand your relief.

EA- sorry to hear you're feeling rough. Have they signed you off for two weeks, or did I imagine that they do that as standard with swine flu?

SJ- I also know someone getting married on the 12th. Have been invited to the evening do and am hoping to go. I love a wedding! You must be getting so excited.

Well, I have swollen feet and ankles for the first time ever. I think it is because I have been on my feet since 7am but I am supposed to call the doctor if I get any swelling due to my high BP. Is it really naughty that I am giving it an hour with my feet up to see if it goes down? I really can't face traipsing down to the surgery now and I feel fine (well, as fine as you do at 29 wks)......

afternoon, just to say, i ate a whole tub of ben and jerrys in less than 20hrs, i am such a ganitt!! so much so i went back to tesco and got another two tubs..oink oink:whistle:

If its sudden swelling and quite bad then get it checked. I was quite surprised when I read the other day that your blood pressure was high and IIRC you had protein in your urine too and that they didn't do bloods for pre-eclampsia. Don't want to worry you, but people rarely feel actually ill with it.

Nicki- Good news about the section, I hope you can be a bit calmer now you know exactly whats happening!

Had my scan earlier today, and baby is still breach, and estimated weight at 33.5 weeks is 6lb 3 oz. So it has been agreed that it will be a planned c section in the week beginning 21 September. Those who don't know me, please don't post that there is still time for baby to turn, or suggest a home birth is still possible for a large breach birth, as this is not what I want and will really freak me out!
