mummy2mygirls wrote: »thought it was about £5 - glad you got to find it cheaper....long time till i will be needing it
I would say the same but is now dawning on me that I am due next month, fair enough is the end of the month, but people keep asking me at work and I say 6 weeks and they look very shocked, appareantly I look about 5 months gone rather than about 8!
One woman only noticed today and I've been in work the whole time
Eek, not long now and that is by my plans, who knows what the baby has planned (my plans are based on a late apperance but who can say....). 4 weeks tomorrow till I finish work, 2 weeks holiday (well 8 days) I have to take then due date! La La la, head back in the sand....0 -
Gill - keeping my fingers crossed for you
Fitzio - glad your appointment went so well! I bet you never thought on your way there that you could be having the baby within 48hours - how exciting! :j
harley - thanks for the reassurance
Bubs has been moving around a bit more today (compared to usual) so hoping she is working her way down
Right, better go do some more housework: had huge plans of getting lots done today, then fell asleep for a good hour and a half this morningTalk later xxx

thanks, Fitzio - glad to hear the MW appt well! You're right, I'm not usually one to get upset but sometimes there's a last straw and DH's job as been it lately and it just feels like we'll NEVER be secure and now any new job means no annual leave when baby comes...just really frustrating/disheartening to know there's no way out, y'know? Brick walls and all...I hate being stressed for the baby, too.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Aless, so sorry to hear about the problems your OH is having, it sounds awful, I hope you manage to work it out - sorry I can't give any advice.
Labour vibes to all the September ladies!
Ok, here is my list of names: Erin, Megan, Maya, Natalie, Jasmine, Isabelle, Amber, Hannah, Heather, Millie, Ellie, Holly, Arwen, Amelie, Sally and Tamsin. My OH has another list and none of them match and I'm still on the look out for something else! I have no idea how I'm going to be able to decide. We did have Tilly for a while but then I heard that most get called 'Silly Tilly' or 'Tilly willy' so that put me off.

Re: Calcium - I asked this question the other day and got no replies and think Glam (who will prob know) is only on sporadically now she's got her little Jack to keep her busy.
Just don't make the same mistake as I did and get one with added vitamin A The pack I bought just said Calcium and Cod Liver Oil on the front so thought it would be ok but was only when I got home I noticed the small print on the back says added vit A and not to take if even likely to become pregnant grr!! Spose I should have read it thoroughly before I put them in the trolley but was a bit stressed as Mozzers was dead busy.
ps - if someone does find out the answer please let me know as am keen to try it.
pps - Also bought Evening Primrose Oil but it says on the pack to take 6 per day for the first 12 wks to build up the chain in your body. Wasn't sure if this would also apply if you are preggersdon't want to start anything off too early.

My friend's got an Arwen and at first I wasn't too sure but it's really grown on me and now I think it's lovely. Have another friend with an Aspen (for a girl) and I haven't heard of anyone else since with that one.0 -
Ohh Aless hugs, it'll all be ok try not to worry, could he get public transport in to work? A lift?
We're skint til Friday when I can pay myself, counting down the days (keep wasting money on baby things, need hands slapping!). Saw a car we think we're going to buy yesterday but they gave such appallng part ex figure on my car we're waiting for them to get back to us, if they don't up it we're going to have to find the pennies somewhere
Just spoke to my mum on the phone, going to pop over for lunch in half an hour once I've done my work for the day. Had a rant about OH's family and names, she said sod them (she dislikes them almost as much as I do) call the baby whatever you like - tell them next time you've decided you like Emily instead of Emmeline just to wind them upGod bless my mum, I love her.
p.s. think I might just be in love with Zac Hanson...!
Your mam has got the right idea lol
And YAY for being in love with Zac Hanson lolI think I might be in love with Taylor Hanson lol

Yes I noticed that some of them also had vit A in them (although cod liver oil is high in vit A anyway, reason why preggy ladies are advised not to take it and instead take the specific omega 3 oils). I will be looking for calcium, possibly with vit D but not magnesium.
Wrt EPO I have been taking 2 capsules per day since last week or so (33 wks) and each capsule is 500mg and also been having one cup of RLT per day (Heath & Heather brand which says it is the equivalent of 1g RL for each tea bag- found on internet). May start on 2 cups this week though, not sure, might alternate days.0 -
Omg i've wasted a full day doing absolutely nothing constructive.
Is there a cure for lazyness? :eek:0
