Wow, I go to the midwife and tesco and when I come back there are 4 pages to catch up on.
Good luck Jam and labour vibes for ML.
Sorry to hear about the money trouble Aless and Beenie. Aless can OH not claim the parking on expenses?
Well apparently baby is 3/5 engaged. But at my appointment at the consultant next tuesday they are likely to want to discuss induction if she hasn't arrived by then. Obviously sex is out of the question and don't want to risk heartburn by having pineapple. Any other suggestions for tempting her out?

thanks for the good thoughts, all...it's mostly corporate b*ll and most people are too chicken to stand up to those in charge - seems once they have it out for you, they make your life miserable til you almost have to leave (apparently he's found other ppl it's happened to too). He works in sales so the second they get a sniff that you might going through a tough period it's a downward spiral.
muso - I HATE under-bump jeans...we were talking about this the other day, but something about the way I'm shaped makes them fall down all the time and I'm always hiking them back up again! I have 2 pairs of over-bump trousers that I love to death and soooo much more comfy, but I'm not sure they would've fit back in trimester 1 - back then i used a bellyband and also just sat around with the top button undone on my jeans. It's really hard to find things that fit during that period, so I sympathise! Bras are a whole 'nother ballgame and an ongoing battle

Thanks Ladies - superfast response!

Good luck Jam. Sounds like you'll be holding your newbie by bedtime tonight.
-When my waters broke with DD, they went with a whoosh in the middle of the night (causing quite a puddle), but then leaked slowly afterwards. so that in the time it took me to get from home to hospital (30mins) a maternity pad was soaked again with fluid. So I don't think its always one or the other, depending on how much fluid you have you can do both!0 -
Aless - your poor OH: hope it gets better for you both
Beenie - I've been getting the 'see it want to eat it' urges tooJust finished a pile of tuna sandwiches but my thoughts keep drifting to the sausages in the fridge...
Fitzio - my midwife told me at my last appointment they would discuss sweeps at next appointment (40 +1) but dunno if that means I would actually get one then
Harley - you're lucky your bubs is that far engaged! I am concerned that my baby wasn't engaged at all at last weeks appointment and that this means I'm going to go waaaay overdue (when I'd be quite happy for her to arrive this weekend)I guess you could go for a lot of walks - do you have a gym ball you could use as well?

Hey all
Just back from reflexologist and she predicted I'd be having a girl (!) on Wednesday, labour starting tomorrow night... so watch this space!!!
gymfiend - I love the bugaboo (got it in yellow), very neat folding mechanism, looks fantastic, v maneouvrable... the only issue we have which is supposed to ease off once it's been used for a bit is the sliding catch that detaches the main seat from the frame (if you wanted to have just the carseat on the frame) is quite stiff. We're just going to leave the seat on when we attach the carseat just to keep things simples!
How are things going Jam?MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
