I know - so many things cheap there at the mo, just had a nosey on the site, so tempted to put an order in! My cat's loving the rocker bless her, she's flat out in it (I know, naughty mummy or what), it's all washable though so will be fine :)

Just noticed this playmat at argos - M&P Fleur seems a bargain, none in stock near me though :(

    Loving everyone’s purchases today!

Gymfiend – I have a similar situation with SIL (DH’s sister, not other SIL who is pregnant). She asked us again about names, and I had given DH a really hard time about telling people what we liked as everyone was slating his favourite and it had put us off, so for once he didn’t say anything. Then she said “if we have a boy, we have decided on name X”. Name X was the only name that DH and I had managed to agree on! To be fair to her, she didn’t know that it was what we had picked, but it’s made it really awkward.

I don’t want to use it now because I feel it’s her name and she has laid claim to it, but we can’t agree on anything else. DH wants to use it anyway, but now she is having to go through IVF as they can’t conceive naturally, so now I feel really guilty!

    Beenie – I would guess a medium would be a 14-16 size.

Oh no Fitz, that'd be such a tough call to make especially as she'd said it before your DH said anything so it'll seem like you stole it iykwim? It's SO hard knowing what to name a baby, I always thought I'd go with the names I've always loved, Emmeline and Isaac, but I've never told anyone I loved them which now makes me feel like I'm stealing?! & I've gone off Isaac thanks to the pillock who went into Big Brother!!

I like Isaac, but OH doesn't want anything remotely biblical! He ruled out Noah as well! ha ha. And I liked it before Chris Evans stole it lol.
DH did say straight away - that's the name we agreed on, so I think she would know we hadn't really stolen it, and the chances are she will have decided on something else and not use it anyway by the time she has kids, but I still feel like it's "her" name a bit.
However, since she isn't particularly nice to me, DH thinks we should just do what we want and use it anyway.

Emmeline and Emily are different names, and as you announced yours first and she isn't pregnant, it's just tough for her. The chances are she wouldn't use it anyway! I think it's a lovely name and a bit unusual without being strange or weird. Just use it and don't let her bother you.

Hoping the next 25 weeks will be enough to convince me it's ok to use :) Plus I actually think it's a boy anyway so maybe we will never have to cross that bridge!

Can I ask what the name was you'd agreed? If she's not nice to you anyway then use it :)

Do you think Tobin is weird? I love Toby but my friends dog was called it, and I feel a bit weird using it (associations and all that) but with Tobin, which is one of the original forms (that and Tobias) I think I can use it then shorten it to Toby?! Ridiculous logic really just to avoid the dog thinking :) OH's family hated that too 'it's too posh' etc, but I love it, bit different but not weird iykwim :/ Starting to doubt myself again!

The biblical thing tickled me - OH said the same about Joseph, reminded him of Jesus?! Not sure why it's such a bad thing but he veto-ed it on that basis...men!
