Morning all,

Squishy - that's really weird, Twinks being your MIL!! Just as well her biscuits are so well liked! Lucky you.

Hope everyone else feels ok this morning after sleepless nights etc. I can't imagine we will be getting a good sleep and long lie for years to come!

I had my usual 5 hours sleep but up 4 times! I always look forward to the weekend DH comes back into room, but at the same time, I can't wait until Sunday night when I get the bed to myself again and he lurks off back to the spare room!! Still, it won't be for long I suppose.

wow, really quiet this morning!

Well, boot sale was a bit of a wash. Got a bag of various clothes and a nice M&P bouncer, but that's it . No Moses baskets or anything like that for sale! Was a bit smaller than we anticipated, so might give that one a miss in the future. Guess I was expecting Glam-style level of bargains to be had, hehe.

I think you have to stick with it to get the real bargains Aless! It seems to be a case of trawling before a lot of tat before you find much good stuff. Sounds like a pretty good haul to me though.

I really need to get my !!! in gear. I just so cannot be bothered....

I've popped on a couple of times the last few days to catch up but not had time to post.

Jenny - glad to hear all OK witht the scan on Friday, lovely to see baby again, isn't it? Am about the size of my gym ball this morning so jealous of your neat bump!
Beenie - hope you find some comfy new shoes that don't break the bank and make you feel better soon after your ex.

Having a very lazy day today - DP down at Brands Hatch watching cars go round in circles, definitely not my bag. Reminds me, I did smile reading your chat about cars the other day! Everyone is saying DP's former rally car is not the most sensible thing on the planet (the m in mpg, I reckon is more like metres that miles -think moneyguzzling rather than moneysaving!) with our little boy on the way but we are optimistic it'll be OK, or is that delusional, it works so why trade it in, that and think DP would cry!

The only thing I have to do today is ice my brothers wedding cake for next Saturday. Argh, it's half 12, must start that otherwise my mum will be hopping mad!!

Aless - sorry your car boot wasnt that great. At least you managed to get a few bits, there's nothing worse than getting up early and coming home with nothing!

Ive managed to turn my new jeans up and finally get dressed but really cant get motivated to actually leave the house. I was meant to be meeting a friend today but she hasnt replied to my texts and I keep getting 'we cannot connect you at present, blah blah blah' Im more annoyed that she's been on facebook this morning so if she didnt want to meet but her phones playing up she could have sent a message on there.

Maybe one more scone and a brew then I'll go :rolleyes:

This is going to make me sound stupid but I seriously cannot work it out! I had a scan on Monday which put me at 8 and 1/2 weeks, which was great, saw baby blob dancing around like mad! And got a picture! Now this is where I get confused, how many days is half a week? Cos I see lots of people put how many weeks they are plus days, but I can't work mine out! Either I am just stupid or baby brain has well and truly set in.

Hi Jolene,

If they didn't give you an EDD date based on your scan, it might be because it's too early to give a good estimation, so they might just have said 8 1/2 weeks as a ballpark figure rather than tying it down to dates. Maybe someone else who had an early scan would know better though as I am just guessing. You will get your 12 week scan in a few weeks, and have a better idea then I am sure.

Congratulations by the way - you must be delighted. Don't worry too much about the dates (they are rarely exact anyway!).

I can't believe i'm 27+1 already, it seems only yesterday i was 12 weeks and reading posts by those who were 27 weeks and thinking how far away it seemed.

Loads of movement last night, think she was having a little party in there. I wish i knew how she was laid cos some of the movements are weird like she's tickling the inside of my hip bone lol

I'm trying my best to make the most of it, i really don't want the next 13 weeks to fly over cos i'm going to be so gutted i'm not pregnant anymore. I loved my first pregnancy and always said i couldn't wait to do it again, but with all the hassle with splitting up with ex it all feels ruined, so need to make the best of it, even though i'm gutted there's no one to share the kicks with!

Beenie - I know! I can't believe I'm only 15 weeks away now...seems like so many ladies were at this point when I joined and now they've all got babies! It's going slow on one hand, but incredibly fast on the other!
