  • Jenny Im planning on putting some stuff on my ipod, just random tunes I like that have good memories linked to them so probably lots of take that (went to the concert at 20 weeks and got little flutters from belly monkey all night) bill withers, beatles etc and maybe a couple of psy trance tunes for OH :rotfl: Bump always wriggles when pendulem or chemical brothers are on so might put some of their stuff on incase labour slows down and she stops moving much :D So in all a very random selection!

Aless car boots are fab, be prepared to haggle!

I can vouch for Twinks hobnobs too! They are scrumtious.

Harley - glad you had a nice day and your parents are looking after you. Take it whilst you can. When the baby is here, they won't bother with you ha ha.

Kindof - where did you end up getting your mat clothes?

Have made a spicy sausage & butterbean casserole for dinner so going to enjoy that whilst watching X Factor (we were meant to have it last night but ended up with a curry!).

Ugh tried to go bed early but it didn't work so i came down for a glass of milk.

Ex phoned earlier but i was too upset to talk to him, soooooo fed up. Wish it would get easier. Just trying to cut him out and encourage myself by remembering the reasons why, but doesn't seem to make it easier.

    Sorry :o

Sorry you are feeling down and ex is getting to you again. It must be really hard for you. It's difficult splitting up with someone, but this is obviously one of the worst times for it so it must be 10 times as difficult. Not got anything constructive to say really but have a hug for what it's worth. :grouphug:

    Well, what a rubbish night.

I kept waking up with the taste of soap in my mouth. It was really gross. Then I kept having to go to the loo, it was too hot and it took ages to get back to sleep every time.
People keep telling me to get as much sleep as I can while I can but it's not that easy.

Apart from that having a good morning so far, reading the paper, drinking tea and planning a nice chilled out day in front of tv (if its working). Sky + went wrong last night, stuff I'd recorded failed even when it looked like it was recording and I couldn't play stuff from last week. Got it to work eventually but took ages. Once baby's here I'll ring them to get it sorted but if I book a visit now you can guarantee I'll go into labour and be charged for a missed visit or something stupid.

Hope you all have a lovely day

  • Morning lovely ladies!

Well I had a lovely lie in till 9am, despite OH waking me up at 6 then 6:30 as he got ready for work! Still feel like I could sleep for a week, but soon I can! Just colouring my hair at the moment and trying to work out what chance I have of managing to shave my legs in the shower......

Harley, sorry you had a rubbish night. Have a nice restful day on the sofa.

I sooo want a Twinks hobnob now thanks to Aless! Might have to make some today if I've got all the ingredients in. They are so yummy and I haven't baked anything for about a week.

Just had cheese on toast for brunch and it was so nice. I haven't had it for ages but it just hit the spot.

  • Morning girls,

many *hugs* to those who are feeling horrible, or need one, or would just like one! :)

Sorry I didn't get a chance to log on yesterday - I was at my mother-in-laws for the morning, then trying to get some stuff done in the house in the evening. Not a bad nights sleep for me which was great, and have had my healthy museli breakfast (though cheese on toast sounds really good GISI - might have to go get a loaf).

I have to agree with all those recommending twinks hobnobs - they are really good! Though I admit I do have the advantage - twink is actually my mother in law so she does make the original and best ones :D Must ask if she'll make me a batch for after the baby is here to help with milk supply... ;)
  • Morning ladies

Harley - sorry you had a bad night. Hope you can have a peaceful day resting to make up for it.

Gisis - after everyone talking about twinks hobnobs yesterday I ended up baking scones last night. Their a bit thin but very yum, and even better I had clotted cream in too! Had one for breakfast too which was a bit naughty.

It seemed strange OH being away last night but it was lovely having the bed all to myself, I might have to suggest one of us moves to the spare room soon. He can sleep through anything so me getting up all night doesnt bother him but I need more room in the bed! I fell asleep on the sofa though until 2.30 and feel like Ive got a funny kink in my back now, might bounce on my ball for a bit.

    Have a good day ladies x x
