Weezl- in response to your question on baby's position, I have no idea if he's turned or not. I guess I'll find out at my next MW apt.
This apt 32wks was the first time that foetal position had been mentioned, but they checked baby was head down and whether he is engaged.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I think when they're 'free', they're still twisting round with head down, so sometimes back-to-back but often self correcting? I think ceph long free is the best way to be just before you engage anyway!

Hi all,
Back from day out and thought I would catch up before starting dinner. Have now sent hubby to go and get a chicken curry with rice and chips from the Chinese after reading Csh and Kindof talking about curry sauce again!! He was quite happy with that anyway as I was trying to rope him into helping with dinner. Not good for my waistline as I was out for lunch but never mind - we only share a take away meal anyway.
My notes have always said ceph, long, free, but last week the midwife put 5/5 palpable because the head has started to engage.
Sorry, I can't remember a thing about what I have just read. Hmmmm...
Jenny - glad everything was fine at the hospital.
Fishcake - hope you called the hospitall and set your mind at rest.
Moneyangel - I had no idea I was pregnant until I did the test when my period was late. And I had no symptoms for a few weeks. Definitely try the TTC thread if you are not already on there yourself.0 -

Ha ha thanks! Not sure it's a particularly good thing though. I kept looking it up and from what I read it doesn't mean labour is any closer! Just means that I will have more pain down below until it happens!! And it's 5/5 palpable, not 5/5 engaged which are the opposite of each other! Very confusing.0 -
