  • Jillie- baby is back to back at the moment, but plenty of time left to turn.

Weezl- MW does all my ante-natal apts so not quite sure how it is shared care, although I have seen GP a few times for various things throughout pregnancy so I guess it is shared, but I assume that would be the same for anyone, IYSWIM, as they have been chronic things rather than routine checks?! I don't really understand it!

 Ask me if you have any baby feeding questions
  • My doctor's surgery likes to see you twice during your pregnancy just so they can have any problems put on your surgery notes but not everyone here has to see a consultant. I think it's all very confusing how different things are even within one trust .

no-one has mentioned to me what way baby is. although he dose seem curved with his head down to me. and i;m sure the way he moves is from a 'C' shape facing right and then a 'C' shape facing left. i know from overhearing conversation on the ward (its hard not to hear at times) that baby can move at any time to the 'easier' way.

i tried sitting on one of those balls wheni was in over the weekend and i nearly rolled straight off!! lol!! :rotfl::rotfl: DH said its prob best if i dont try it again....

havemt got a clue how the whole plan of care is done. it seems tobe different from one part of the country to the next. even from consultant to consultant at the same hospital.

  • Well I have nothing to add on the care front...... i haven't had any:rolleyes:lol
Congratulations to everyone loved the baby pics but forgot who belong to who lol Just went mushy at them all.

Welcome newbies and weezle that was quick:D

We've got a vectra good sized boot so not a major worry for us when it comes to the prams etc.

Sis had her op this morning and is in pretty bad pain and they are not all that willing to give her medication for it. We have been advised to put in a complaint about how she and us were treated the last few months. Cant see how that will help her though, but at least she is safe getting help now.

Hope everyones aches and pains ebb away tonight so you can enjoy the weekend:)

There's space for positioning to be written in the notes after every ante-natal visit- in midwife code :rotfl: Mine kept saying 'ceph, long, free' so I looked it up :o:D Does yours say anything like that?
