Lolly and Nancmat, so sorry to hear both your news. Lolly I hope your friend starts getting better soon although it is probably really early days and will take a while.

Just got back from OH's brother's wedding. At the end me and OH were the only ones dancing, no one else seemed to have any stamina!

Nanc - sorry to hear about your friend. I just can't imagine what they are going through.

Morning everyone,

had a little mosey on the parent thread last night and seems Glam had to take little Jack to hospital over night as he's a little jaundiced as not been managing to feed enough. Hope I've got that right and is ok for me to post.

Really hope she is back soon and LO is re-pinked.

Morning all,

I saw the news about Glam after I posted last night. Hope everything is ok and they are back home soon.

Gymfiend – I did have sushi on Thursday, but only as a starter so had soft shell crab California Roll, which is obviously cooked. However, I have been for normal sushi quite a few times during pregnancy. I asked the manager at Yo Sushi and he said that the only things I should avoid were the salmon and tuna sashimi as they are the only things truly fresh as everything else has been frozen prior to serving therefore killing any parasites etc. I ate some salmon and tuna anyway mind you, but it is delicious!!!

Boo – Enjoy the hospital tour (I wish we could have one, I would feel much better knowing what I am doing!), and the carvery. Sounds like a nice Sunday.

Going to make some breakfast then will come back and post my hospital bag list for opinions if that’s ok. I think it’s deciding how much of each thing that is the difficult part!

Morning ladies

thank you for all the well wishes, she was moved to a normal ward yesterday as she was improving but has been back down to intensive care late last night as she took a funny turn. We are hopeing she will back on the normal ward soon. :-)

Well i thought it was action stations last night from 7:30 until 3:30am i was getting really painfull tightenings to the point i had to put my tens machine on but once we got to 3:30 am it all just stopped im getting the odd one now. OH has had a feel of my cervix and said he can get his finger in there now and its soft ( he recons he can feel babies head but i dont know) so i think something is definately going on the other day it was still solid when he did my EPO.

Nanc thats awfull it does really make you think i'm so sorry for their loss :-( x

I've had a scoot on the internet and can't see any. I presume you are looking for the moses basket hood and skirt? Perhaps try ebay? Babies r us and kiddicare sell mattress, sheets etc but not the outer bits.

Can you call the hospital and ask for advice?
